“The food here is delicious and the staff are trying their best.
Entry into this establishment needs to be revamped. Their current system seems to be self seating.
I noticed multiple people enter and stand in the front end, not sure if they should seat themselves, or wait to be seated. Many people stood for 5-10 minutes before being addressed by the staff.
This place either needs a “seat yourself” sign, or a host/hostess table to fix the issue.
When we entered, we stood for five minutes, weren’t addressed by staff, then sat ourselves down. It was about ten minutes after sitting before anyone acknowledged us.

With that being said, the staff were all very friendly.

“Tazza Caffe and Paninoteca sandwiches for lunch! OMG the sandwiches are huge! Authentic Italian Sue had the Tutto with mortadella, suppressants, Capitola, prosciutto stracciatella cheese, tomatoes, onions, pickles, hot cherry peppers and garden greens on delicious seeded bread. I had the LaGemma piadina with roast beef, tomatoes. Charred onions and herbed cheese. Both are excellent, Pictured is about a quarter of the sandwich. “Reserved the backroom for our wedding celebrations on Friday night. The wait staff could not have been more accommodating! They were wonderful! The food was outstanding with many in my family commenting how fabulous it was. The Baked Stuffed Eggplant is my favorite....flavorful taste and so yummy! “We always love going there. Some of the reviews I have read seem biased. I do not want my server to be engaging. That’s not professional. I want my server to serve me in a professional manner there’s a big difference. Also someone wrote it’s dark and dingy. That’s what we love. But we call it atmospheric and romantic. Bartenders are always excellent. Service never has been poor. The food was always tasty. Portions are large. They run 3 course specials that are fun if you have an appetite. It’s not a kid friendly place. Although they are not rude to kids the kids probably wouldn’t enjoy it. It’s small and tables are close together. We sat at the bar once because we didn’t have a reservation and the place was packed. We had a great time. Like the Italians say “Try it, You’ll like it” 😄 going there tonight“
