We celebrated our birthday with my twin sister. We’ve been planning to come for a long time and finally got our reservation. Their hospitality and food were outstanding. Every bite was more delicious than the last. And we’re so lucky that they had Auction Uni tonight on the specials menu which we could enjoy. It was unbelievable. Such a rare delicacy. They also had a very nice sake menu. It was such a memorable dinner. Hats off to chef Chen and everyone!

An amazing experience from start to finish. Chef Wei is an artist and the service was top notch. So glad that Boston finally has this level of omakase. We will be visiting again and again.

The only reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is because there aren't six stars to give. Wow, this place is amazing. And here's the thing, I'm not even done eating yet. I still have three courses to go.

Overall an absolutely fantastic experience. Service was impeccable, ambience was simple, clean, and highlighting the food as it should. The quality of the fish was without question. Some of the sashimi was the best I've ever had. They have some extremely unique add ons as well that are totally worth it. There were a few dishes that could have used a little more flavor for some of the more flavorless fish, as some omakase do, but the simplicity and the quality were the stars of the show.

I recently had dinner for Omakase here , and it was absolutely fantastic! This cozy spot only has 10 seats, so it feels really special and intimate. Chef Wei and his team were amazing, putting so much care into every dish.
The 18-course menu was out of this world. My favorites were the Toro with Caviar and the Tai Truffle—they were just perfect. The whole experience took about 2 hours, which was just right for enjoying each course without feeling rushed.
The atmosphere was elegant but relaxed, and the service was top-notch. Getting a reservation can be tricky, but it’s totally worth it. If you love sushi and want a unique dining experience, you have to check out 311 Omakase!

So happy that we were able to get a reservation last minute. Top quality ingredients, friendly staff, and you can add on a-la-carte items as well-depending on availability. It was a satisfying experience all around.

Hands down, this is the best sushi restaurant in Boston! The sushi here is exceptional, with fresh ingredients, arty
presentation, and a delightful variety of flavors that cater to both traditional and modern palates. I felt like in Japan entire time in there. High quality high services. Definitely will go back to there again.

We heard Chef tried 40 different types of seaweeds before settling on the one he uses for the restaurant -- and that level of detail, attention, and commitment shows across the whole menu and experience.
All the ingredients were very fresh, presented beautifully, and eloquently described by host Carrie. Carrie also gave us tips on how to best enjoy the plates, the explanation(s) on why chefs cut/score/seer the way they do, some history behind the foods, where ingredients are sourced, and even gave me a really unique apple soda to try!
From top to bottom, the service, food, and atmosphere was top notch. We'll be back! This is a MUST try.
Our favorite dishes were the golden eye snapper, brulee'd omelette, and special yuzu italian ice served with a dash wasabi that was ground by hand in front of us just minutes before.
A+++

All of the fish was incredibly fresh. For being on a coast, we laughed at the fact that all of the fish is flown in from Japan many times a week (obviously for a good reason, though, we’re aware). We frequent raw bars and have tried several omakase experiences, and still we had tried a few pieces that we’d never seen before on a menu. The service was wonderful & we have no real complaints. It was an incredible way to celebrate our first anniversary.
The downsides: price $$$$$ and (not sure if this is still the case) the only beverage available was water. In terms of drinks, this is communicated to you upon booking and in advance of your reservation. For this reason, it really isn’t a ‘con’ so much as something to be aware of. And the price is justified with the quality you’ll get at 311, but it is also the limiting factor in being able to return to enjoy Chef Wei’s menu again!
