Lovely clean pub but unfortunately we were overcharged by a barman. Drinks were advertised at $7 corona/$6 coors but charged $18 before tip twice and on 3rd drink he charged $20 and put it straight in tip jar. As we had only arrived we weren’t sure until new barman charged us correct price. Not a nice thing to do, not impressed.

If it isn’t busy, it is sit wherever you like, order at the bar. Staff was friendly.

The Shepherds Pie was OK and the “Rhode Island style” calamari was slightly different in a good way — a good use of red pepper.

We love to try Irish pubs when we travel but will not visit this establishment again. There is no table service so you order at the bar. Bartender was not interested in being helpful. He poorly drew my husband a Guinness that was all head and even when the beer settled it wasn't a full pour. The clam chowder was not like traditional clam chowder, it was just salty brown soup. Chicken wings were also salty and tasteless. The interior of the bar itself is inviting but the service and food are not.

We came here because we were staying near the area and we wanted an Irish pub and fish and chips. The location is good because it's by a lot of other shopping, restaurants, Prudential center, etc. But that's where it kind of stopped. As soon as we came inside the floor was sticky. Not only could you feel it stick to the bottom of your shoes but you could hear it every time you stepped. We went towards the back to sit down to get something to eat and nobody came and took our order. We asked somebody else and they said you had to go to the bar so there's only one person working. They were the bartender, the server, the buser, etc. We had to go to the bar ourselves and order and take it to our table. We ended up only having one drink and going somewhere else to eat. Wasn't too impressed with the menu. I loved the front seating by the window so you could sit and watch the action outside.

bartenders trick you into paying gratuity on top of the cash tip you give them without showing receipt, decent food

One of the few bars on the UFC website that ACTUALLY shows the fights. Great time. Thanks for showing the fight and hosting us. Cheers!

I didn’t have the food. But we had the best service we’ve had anywhere in Boston here. It’s everyone friendly. The bartenders are the best I’ve experienced in my week long visit. We met the owner and he’s fabulous!

This was a fun place to hang out, and the music was good, but the bartender gave my friends a hard time about ordering dirty Shirleys, refusing to serve them even after asking for IDs, saying it was a child’s drink. Mind you we are pushing 30. Can a beautiful woman not order a dirty Shirley in peace in the year of our lord 2024? When god sings with his creations, will dirty Shirleys not be part of the choir?

CHECK YOUR BILL!! We came in on a Saturday and there were no servers, just order at the bar. No problem. Ordered 2 burgers, a beer and a cocktail. Bartender hands me the card reader at the tip page, the bill was $92, which seemed high but I didn’t have a way to check it at that point. I added a tip, and it made the total well over $100 (for 2 burgers, a beer and a cocktail). Later I went to the bar to ask for the receipt. Turns out, when the bartender handed me the electric card scanner, she had already added a 20% gratuity (without my consent or awareness). My tip was (apparently) on top of that 20% gratuity. Super sheisty. When I called them out on it later, they offered to take off the additional tip, and said “it’s a new system, maybe they’re still learning it.” I doubt that, I got swindled and I’m glad I got some of my money back. The burgers were over cooked but tasted fine. A side salad was $5 extra. No big deal. I’m not thrilled that I was played for extra money (especially when I had to go to the bar to order, providing very little service to justify 20%+ extra tip). Just be careful.

I bought 2 tickets for a whiskey tasting and jazz night at this establishement through Eventbrite. We showed up at the location the night of the event to be informed by the bartender that the event had been cancelled. They didn’t cancelled the event on Eventbrite and never offered me a refund. I tried to get a refund through Eventbrite and tried several times to contact the bar without success. Complete scam and this is the only way I have to warn people of this bar and their events.
