My partner and I got a pita roll-up w falafel and rice plate w beef & lamb shawarma, moussaka, and spicy potatoes - TASTE: 4/5 - both dishes were tastier than expected! My roll-up was well balanced w hummus, garlic sauce, onions, and pickled turnips. The beef & lamb in the rice plate was marinated nicely, and the spicy potatoes were great TEXTURE: 4/5 - the falafel added crisp bites to the soft pita roll-up, and we enjoyed the tender eggplant in the moussaka PRICE: 4/5 - our total came to $30 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - we had a late lunch and knew we didn't want a super heavy dinner, so the portions here were just right SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 5:45pm on a Saturday and the space wasn't too busy. Ordered at the front, and waited 5min for my falafel ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - Aceituna Grill looks super dim from the outside, but the lighting inside is just fine lol and there are informative murals describing Mediterranean food. The space and seating are typical for the fast casual vibe PARKING: 4/5 - Seaport can be hit or miss for street parking. We got lucky w a metered street parking spot right in front on Boston Wharf Rd

Excellent food. I had a rice plate, super tasty, fresh. Chicken was well cooked, juicy and crispy. Price very reasonable. Service fast.

I had high expectations from this place and went in super hungry but it did not meet expectations in multiple ways. Instead of an over arching verdict, i’ll dive into the details.I got a plate with chicken, cauliflower and moussaka as my sides.1. Rice - the rice was undercooked. I eat at multiple Mediterranean joints in a week and I know when the rice sticks under your molars.2. Chicken was warm and well cooked.3. Both sides were ice cold. Keeping in mind that these are warm sides (fried cauli and moussaka), they tasted bland. Very unprofessional for whoever designed the menu and decided to serve it cold.4. The plate comes with 2 sauces by default which I was not told. The only visible sauce is tzatziki and I got just that, only to realise it’s a $2 up charge. They did offer me the free sauce after but it was a waste for me. Honestly, your first sauce should be free.5. The pita was probably warmed once in the morning but it was so hard to bite that I had to throw it away.6. Quantity - quantity is decent and it did fill me up however I wont be returning as the joint lacks quality.I hope the owner/chef is open to feedback and looks into these things. I would not recommend this place as a local guide until they improve.

I recently had lunch at this fast-casual spot hoping for a vibrant, flavorful meal. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The décor was lovely but the food did not live up to the aesthetic. Everything was bland or cold. Service was prompt, but the mediocre taste left much to be desired. It’s a pity; I was looking forward to a nice Mediterranean meal but this place didn’t quite hit the mark.

Tasteless dry meat with pasty flavorless sauces, an abhorrent excuse for hummus, watery slimy curd for tzatziki, this place truly knocks on the devil's door for their ingredients. RUN AWAY and when you're done running, crawl away.

Today, my travels took me to Boston. I was out and about lookin for some wicked food, lol. I found Aceituna Grill. Upon entering, it resembles a Mediterranean Chipotle the way their set up is. I went with the lamb and beef shwarama wrap with fresh garlic, hummus, lettuce, onions, and pickles with tahini sauce. It was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and the garlic made it pop! The size of the wrap was perfect too! Not to little and not overload. You can eat and feel satisfied buy not stuffed. If you are in this part of Bahston, drop in and check out Aceituna Grill!

The chicken seemed boiled and uncooked. The quality has gone down and I will not recommend this overpriced Mediterranean food to

Absolutely Mid. A place that serves Shawarma should make sure their chicken isn’t dry! Portions were laughably small.

I gave to this place a second chance. It is definitely way low rate food at all. The “greek” salad tomatoes were bitter, hummus extremely unseasoned, chicken was completely dry. Everything was wrong. I don’t think I ever come back to anyone.

This was great casual lunch place. Concept is similar to Chipotle but applied to Mediterranean food. You can pick meat and eat it with salad, peta or rice. Sides were great.

Mediocre Chipotle copycat for middle eastern food. A simple Chicken Shawarma rice bowl and a drink was $18. Charging extras for simple toppings like onions is a bit much as well. Food was just ok. Not worth the amount it costs.

Easy, fun, and delicious. Those are the words that best describe dinner at Aceituna Grill on Newbury Street. Mediterranean food at its best. I had chicken shawarma. The tabouli is freshly made each morning and it was the best I have had. I am going to invite friends over this weekend and order the food from Aceituna Grill. Not fussy, just good for you and yummy food.
