Great food - the Aquitaine steak frites were phenomenal and the lamb chop special was also quite enjoyable. Their crème brûlée was one of the better ones I've had. An overall good ambiance - it was very much a classic French bistro.

Really nice restaurant. Prices keeping with most restaurants—not crazy expensive (!). Has tablecloths, and we were there for brunch! Nice touch that a lot of places have phased out. NOT TOO LOUD!! We were there on a busy Easter Day and the noise level was not anything. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and food—-will go again.

I was excited to try this restaurant, and expected better. The warm boucheron salad could have been much better. Service very slow, order was incomplete. Cheese platter poor, and walnuts old. Chicken roti was very good. Overall, very overpriced for the quality of food.

Food is great but pricey, service was not very attentive. Waters were not often filled up, we weren’t asked if we wanted another drink/more bread etc. vibe and ambiance is amazing

Same as several other comments, ambiance is great, but that's pretty much it. Service is very poor which we had items ordered missing or even water had the be reminded multiple times. Steak was just cold so they ended up warming it up.
No apology when we pointed that items never showed up did show up on our bill.

One of the cocktails we ordered never came. 3 people on our table ordered steak frites parisienne, medium rare, medium and well done. Well done came medium. Medium rare came unedibly cold that we had to send it back. Duck risotto, appetizers and desserts were tasty but nothing amazing. Portion sizes lean more French than American, making plates quite expensive.

Aquitaine was a great experience, came out with some friends for drinks and a nice meal. The service was great, very attentive. We ordered some espresso martinis and the salmon, the salmon was cooked beautifully. It came in a bed of a beet salad, which was very complimentary to the dish. Truly one of my favorite dishes I’ve had in a while, while dining in the Boston area. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or a casual night with friends. Definitely a place worth dining in!

We like Aquitaine and have dined here numerous times. The menu has plenty of options, food is well prepared and generally delicious. We dined with another couple last night and combined we were all pleased with the appetizers, main courses and desserts. Drink options and wine selections are also quite solid. A minor complaint, my wife and I both had the steak frites, and while it was very tender and cooked to our liking, it could have been a bit hotter, and we chose not to send it back. This wasn't deal breaking and we look forward to our next visit.
They didn’t have a table at the time of our reservation, then it took us more than 1h to get our food. The portions are very very small and the meat was not cooked based on what I ordered. Overall, the full team seemed very stressed and unorganized. For that price range, this experience is not acceptable. Maybe they had a bad day…
