Maybe it's because I'm from Chicago and I am accustomed to excellent service and high-quality food. But I felt that the food was average, and I felt that the waiter was rushing us, not appreciative of our presence and our business, and I felt that the noise level was very high, it dwas hard to talk. I had high hopes, but I left somewhat disappointed.
Excellent food with attentive service. We had the calamari and meat balls for appetizers. For our main courses we had gnocchi, lobster ravioli and the spaghetti vongole. Everything was top notch. Try to get a table by one of the windows overlooking the street if possible.
Celebrated a birthday at the restaurant last night. This was our first time dining at Arya Trattoria and it was excellent. Delicious food and excellent service combined to make it a memorable evening. We will be back!
Tried Ayra in the North End and had a great experience overall. We had the Bolognese, artichoke, burrata, and mushroom ravioli , all was delicious. The pasta was fresh and flavorful, and each dish had a nice balance without being too heavy. The wine recommendation was spot-on and paired really well with the meal. It's a cozy little spot with a warm atmosphere, perfect for a casual date night or a small group. The tables are definitely on the smaller side, but it's manageable and didn't take away from the experience. Would definitely go back!
When reviewers say it's loud, believe it. The noise levels take away from the otherwise positive experience.
Small, very crowded restaurant with tables packed together. In search of a high turnover of tables, the waitstaff keeps you moving at a fast clip. The food is not bad but not great either: good pasta with a heavy sauce; decent meatballs but considerable breading in them; tough seafood with a delicious but gargantuan portion of broccoli rabe underneath and overdone out-of-season corn on the cob. Not terrible but plenty of better places in the North End.
The food was great, the rest of the experience not so much. The place feels more like a sports bar with people yelling. The tables are so close together you have squeeze through to walk to your table, but that was less uncomfortable than the service. We felt like we were an inconvenience to the server who seemed annoyed to have to interact with us and didn't come back to the table until he brought the check without offering the dessert menu. I made this reservation for, and had it noted when we made the reservation, our wedding anniversary. Overall, it was not a great experience. I wouldn't recommend it or return. There are so many other great options in the North End.
We had an amazing meal..... the meatballs, the artichoke, the caprese, the Cesar , the gnocchi and the bolognese. All of it was excellent
Our baby says the best sauce ever! ? great food!

Had a great experience for my family and myself at Arya Trattoria, they came highly recommended by friends from Boston (we're from Charleston SC). Food was excellent, the owner and staff were very friendly and funny and they didn't have to but they were very interactive with my 4 and 5 year old granddaughters.
Great food, great service. The tables are close together and it was so loud that at a small table for 2 we could barely talk to each other. The food was so good I'd go back for sure.
I want to start by saying, the management and staff are amazing. For some reason I screwed up the reservation date, they worked with me to make sure I got a table, most restaurants in the North End would have turned me away. On to the food, the White Truffle Caesar Salad, was a yummy sophisticated starter, that had me thrilled to see was next. With impeccable timing we received are pasta dish still hot, and it did not disappoint. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
