Cozy restaurant with excellent food and attentive service. We had the calamari, meatballs, gnocchi, lobster ravioli and spaghetti vongole. Everything was top notch. Try to get a table by one of the windows overlooking the street.

Made reservations last minute and was able to get a reservation the morning of .
Restaurant is located on the second floor in a cozy environment that can get loud depending on what time you have reservations.
Gentleman at the door was very welcoming and showed us to our table right at the window looking outward to the street which was great people watching from an elevated location. Restaurant was packed and I would recommend reservations be made .
Cocktails to start were a good generous pour and well prepared : Negroni was quite good.
Appetizers we got a side of grilled asparagus and the figs stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped with prosciutto and a drizzle of balsamic glaze . The figs were delicious and the perfect accompaniment for the cocktails . Asparagus was just okay , a bit too stalky for my preference.
Main dishes were the Pesto with pancetta topped with burrata made with Gluten Free pasta . Well prepared flavorful and heavy on the pesto which we prefer . Nice to see they offer all their pasta dishes with a GF option . The other main was their Tagliatelle Bolognese da Abruzzo which was a hearty ragu slow simmered with beef , veal and pancetta topped with freshly grated Parmesan. I really enjoyed this .
Overall we left satisfied with the entire experience despite being loud and a bit cramped in due to the small size of the upstairs restaurant .
I would possibly come back but would want to try other Italian restaurant options in the neighborhood for comparison purpose .

Came here on a recommendation from a work colleague. I now question their taste buds. Maybe my expectations were too high given it’s located in the well known North End. We got meatballs (average), lemon shrimp (quite good), filet (average), and sea bass (sub par). Sorry, just average at best. We are from St Louis and I’ve had dozens of superior meals at this price point and same dishes. It was disappointing to the extent I left a review. Their current 4.5 stars rating is misleading.

I’d like to start off by saying I’m never a guy to leave reviews and never have. But this one stung enough to where I had to. I was given a recommendation to come here by my uncle when we were visiting from out of state. I know places have bad days and it is what it is but when neighboring customers are getting 5 star treatment from the owner asking how there meal was, and getting them quick refills it tends to be noticed. Food was very good but the treatment of the servers was absolutely terrible and just made me extremely upset. After waiting 20 minutes for one glass of wine while the same server got three other tables their drinks after mine is absolutely crazy. The owner himself after 3 different servers came to our table for unsure what reason just handed us our check and said thanks then processed to wait there and made me feel very rushed. 200$ is very acceptable for for a good/great meal but never for one where your treated like your barely a person. Sorry I had to leave this but I needed to make people feel known how terrible the service is here.

Amazing! We had a fantastic experience dining at Arya on Sunday evening. It felt like having dinner with a large extended family. We allowed our wonderful server Diego to choose our selections and he did not disappoint. Every item was fresh, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. All of the staff at Arya takes pride in the restaurant and seems genuinely pleased to have you dine there.

My wife and I looked very forward to trying this place based upon the rating and reviews. Unfortunately, it was pretty bad. 1st we were sat on a leather bench , which had 18 inch pieces of duck tape on it, cover up a rip. Food wise, it went further down hill from there . Shrimp app served over soggy crostini . The shrimp were absent of flavor. Picture shrimp cocktail thrown into a caper sauce . Terrible! Fried calamari came out and was equally disappointing . More strips than rings . Both dishes were just thrown together . Fortunately, we didn’t dive any further into the meal with us asking for a check. Ran over to mamma Maria’s and we were fortunate enough to get a table. DO NOT waste your money with all of the options out there. Not good!

Great meatballs. Staff very professional. This evening noise level was especially loud due to a few very loud tables.
Food runner/busser Eduardo was a lot more engaged than the server. We were wondering why he is not a server because our server (couldn't tell you his name) was in and out, no humor, pretty rude - felt like he just wanted to flip tables and get through the night. I am a bartender at a fine dining Italian restauraunt so I believe I have a pretty good sense of what good looks like. Other than that, food was great, amazing ambiance. Server killed the vibe but Eduardo is why we thought the service wasn't a 1 star.
Repeat visitor and repeat order of the ribeye did not disappoint! Enjoyed my meal at the bar with a colleague who had the clams- good stuff!
Intimate and friendly. Every dish was perfect and beautifully presented. We went with the “trust me, we'll feed you” option and I'm so glad we did. Had dishes we never would have picked from the tempting menu. The basics are wonderful and the more modern dishes are excellent. Will definitely be going back there!!!
