Bakey’s is my go-to spot for pastries, sandwiches, and truly divine bread. Their babka and bureka are the best on the East Coast, and everything pairs perfectly with a hot espresso. 😋 Highly recommend stopping in—you won’t be disappointed.😋

I tried babka for the first time in Boston after a walk in the park, and it was absolutely worth it. It pairs perfectly with coffee.
However, the woman at the counter looked like she’d rather be anywhere else. After ordering babka and a coffee, I waited at the coffee station with no acknowledgement, no eye contact, and no communication at all. I clearly could’ve stood there all day without her noticing. Thankfully, another employee – much more attentive and professional – noticed I was waiting and actually bothered to make the coffee.
I ordered an almond latte and, honestly, it was surprisingly excellent. I didn’t expect a bakery to serve a coffee that good.
I’ll come back to try another flavour of babka and to have that almond latte again. It would just be nice if the woman at the counter could offer at least a small smile next time

Everything is delicious!! Don’t sleep on the Chocolate Banana Walnut Babka. Typically only served on the weekends but you can order it 48 hours in advance. Iveth was an absolute gem today! So friendly and helpful with my order, she really made it extra special. Will definitely be back and would recommend Bakey to everyone!

Cold coffee at 730. 30 minutes before closing you should still have other options...
We visited Boston in 2022 and right before closing time my husband went to get dessert. He brought back an almond babka off their recommendation.. and after I took a bite back at the hotel, I got SO mad that he only bought one!! I’m not a sweets person but the almond babka was so good. I now ask my sister to bring me back an almond babka from bakey whenever she visits Boston.

My wife said to leave a review so here we go. The pastry was puffy and warm to eat, with a dash of raspberry which made it perfect. Good coffee to pair with the Babka.

These are not bagels. They are light sandwich rolls in the shape of bagels. They put almost no cream cheese on it. This place should be avoided. Terrible.
