About Banyan Bar + Refuge
Banyan Bar + Refuge Reviews
It was Ladies' night for us, and we popped into Banyan. We love the décor, atmosphere, drinks. We instantly loved Jimmy who gave us the warmest welcome like we were old friends. We ended our night in Banyan and are eager to go back for a meal!
Great food especially the Lobster Roll Bao and the Seared Tuna. Highly recommend, service was great as well.
Menu
Banyan Bar + Refuge offers a welcoming atmosphere with warm wood-toned decor and a clean, modern feel. The restaurant is known for its fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes, though some may find them too spicy. The service can be mixed, with some guests experiencing frequent check-ins while others encounter staff who seem overwhelmed during busy times. The seating can feel cramped, especially when the restaurant is full.
The menu features a variety of dishes, including happy hour specials such as veggie dumplings and scallion pancake roll with pork belly, which are a highlight. Many visitors enjoy sharing dishes, and the drinks are excellent and fairly priced. However, the portions are relatively small, so ordering more may be necessary.
Customers have praised the fusion bento box as a fantastic starter option, providing a well-portioned and flavorful sampling of different menu items. Dishes like the Dan Dan Noodles with chicken and the Korean Sticky Chicken have also received positive reviews, with the white sauce pairing perfectly with the latter.
Overall, Banyan Bar + Refuge offers a fun vibe and great outdoor dining, though some have noted occasional issues with service.
