Living in Boston, we rotate our favorite restaurants - Bar Mezzana is definitely in the top tier. It's like going home with better food, better conversation and always friendly faces.

The most important criticism we had was that the noise level was so loud that we had to practically scream at each other to have a conversation. It made it made for a very unpleasant experience. In addition, we felt that the food was not up to its usual quality.

We have been at Bar Mezzana on different occasions and they never failed to impress. Although the menu is on the smaller side, every dish is of high quality and exquisite taste. Our favorites are the bread and dips, the antipasti salad, the burrata and squash, grilled octopus, and the whole branzino. The service is excellent and the ambiance is modern but cozy. I highly recommend!
