Had a great night at the place, service was exceptional from Madelline and the other waitrons. Accidentally spilled my drink and they offered to replace it for me at no exra charge. Food was amazing as well, highly recommend you check it out.

Kevin is the most wonderful server we've had in our dining experiences throughout our travels. He truly made this the most welcoming environment and should be praised by management.
We love you Kevin! Also, the cheeseburger was delicious. And the oysters, too

It was not our first time at Black Lamb, but it was a good reminder that we should be going more. The cornbread is worth getting and bringing home half. As for “service,” Madeline could be a professor of hospitality.
Service was excellent - our server made great recommendations. The food was delicious - especially enjoyed the lamb ribs and cornbread.
We stopped here for oysters and absolutely loved everything about this cozy restaurant. The host who was also our server was so lovely. The oysters, burgers and drinks were top notch. Highly recommend stopping in anytime.

Great place in the South End. I've eaten there many times and always enjoy the food and the drinks. This visit we had the salt and vinegar chips with the onion dip along with the corn bread as an appetizer. I had the lamb burger for my main course and my friend had the cheese burger. Both burgers came with fries. For drinks I had the dirty martini and my friend had the creamy espresso martini. Everything was great. I think there french fries are some of the best around.

I had the lamb burger and it was AMAZING!! Lamb was cooked perfectly. The peach cobbler sundae was really good as well. I want to go back to try some other dishes on the menu.

Impromptu date night on a rainy Thursday, and it was perfect. Incredibly kind staff, excellent food, cozy spot. You should eat here esp if you like a good raw bar and mussels!

As someone mentioned earlier, the burger wasn’t that great especially considering $ — it was overcooked and not that great, so if you want it Medium, ask for Medium Rare. The fries were good, and the tartar was quite tasty, though the portion was a bit small in my opinion.

Very loud, like an upscale sports bar. My order came out incorrectly, twice. Food was uneven. Some dishes were good. Others were not.
