Black Lamb has good potential but definitely had some kinks to work out with their service. The staff was highly aware that service needed improvement and apologetic and I felt empathetic but we still waited 45 minutes to get a drink and attention from our waiter was consistently inconsistent.
Food was excellent. We had mostly smaller plates. The cornbread was outstanding as was the grilled cheese crab rangoon. The artichoke dip was also very good.
This visit was subpar at best. The food was probably one of the worst I've had in a long time. I ordered the corn bisque which came with a “shrimp toast” that was literally dripping with oil. The stuffing didn't look or taste like shrimp either. The whole thing was greasy and unappetizing. Likely won't be going back again.
Awesome ambiance. Nice cocktail and interesting and delicious choice of food. Service was great too.
Food and service were good, although both of the medium-rare lamb burgers arrived well-done. Overall our meal was a bit pricey and not the best value.
Love the mussels and fries! And a serving of fries at Black Lamb is super-generous. Plenty to share.
Food was so fresh and well prepared. Drinks were fun. The servers were prompt, friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure.
Service was good in beginning. And then waitress disappeared. We weren't offered desert. And Check was just dropped off by another person.
This place was amazing! Their appetizer "snacks" selections are superb and delicious. I truly enjoyed everything I ordered! The service was great. Our server Austin was very attentive and was spot on with the descriptions on the drinks and food!
The ambience was bright and warm. Service was outstanding! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was very good with a wide selection of items but a little pricey for a Saturday brunch. I will definitely be going back!

A wonderful summer evening for dining outdoors. The burrata, the spring risotto, and the tuna poke were all really good.
We walked in and asked for a table for four. We pointed at a table and she told us it was reserved. We pointed at another table and the hostess went to look at the schedule again and she told us that table was reserved. We pointed at another table. She went to check the schedule once again and she told us that table was reserved. Then we were told only the bar was available. We sat there and had bad service. Staff was not attentive and seemed more interested in their conversations. We left after one drink! Poor service.
The black lamb is an all-around go-to. Their prices are reasonable for Boston and their food is exceptional. My wife and I love their lamb burger with fries. Their french fries are some of the best.
Three of us — my wife, my friend, and I — came in for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The food was very tasty! I tried the Lamb Ribs and they were absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Fun atmosphere and they serve a great burger. They have a great menu and even the chefs are attentive to the customer experience.
