First time dining at Blue Nile to celebrate a birthday. Great experience all around from our server to the delicious food. Would definitely recommend for any occasion or even a family evening dinner out.

I had an indoor reservation and they told use when we arrived on time that indoor tables would be available in 45 mins, so they sat us outside in the cold

Great Ethiopian food and great service. The dishes were big and very tasty. My only problem was that the place was over heated. Regarding the food - all was really good.

I love the veggie combo! So much food and a great variety. Servers are friendly. They have outdoor tables when the weather is warm, which is always a plus.

This is classic Ethiopian food. It's tasty and as vegetarians, it's both an incredibly affordable and fulfilling option for dinner! Their cabbage and collard greens were both standouts but honestly we tried every veggie option and all of them are excellent here. We shared the 6 option vegetarian platter and that was more than enough food for the two of us.

Blue Nile is a small but comfortable place. The service was attentive and friendly. The food is delicious with ample size portions for sharing. Excellent experience.

The food here was delicious. The sambosa was crispy and filled with slightly spicy lentils. The meat dishes are all served on a slightly sour and very tasty bread/pancake called injera. I had the lamb (yebeg tibs) and it was great - so flavorful and tender. I didn't try the 2 kinds of beef or chicken that my company ordered, but according to them it was great! My side of collard greens was equally delightful. The reason it's not 5 stars is the price of the food for the amount you get. Ordering a combo (meat dish + a side order of a vegetable dish) helps the price but the helpings were noticeably small for the price. That being said, Blue Nile is a great place to check out if you're in the area.

The service was great -- super friendly and accommodating to both my friend with allergies to dairy and someone in my company who asked for a fork. Not worth it. Ordered the Doro Tibs Combo for take-out, got a half-empty container of pretty bland diced white chicken. The side dish (Misir Wat) was missing, and the chicken was overcooked and sitting in a pool of liquid. Definitely not worth $25+.

1 star because I paid $18 for Doro Wat which consisted of one singular drumstick. An absolute ripoff

None of my party of 3 had ever eaten Ethiopian food before. It was delicious and we were able to grab a table without a reservation.
