Blue Ribbon Brasserie Reviews
Service was excellent and it is a nice space. It's the former Eastern Standard location which is convenient if you're going to Fenway. It's hard to judge the food overall because we were just there for a burger. It was tasty but a $26 burger should be served on something better than a basic supermarket hamburger bun. Convenient location but not a great value in my opinion.
The ragu is out of this world! My father is from Tuscany and if there's one thing I know about it's good Italian cuisine and this ragu is as close to not only my own ragu, but that of my Tuscan Father and nonna. If you know your sugo, come here and have the ragu, it's as good as it gets out of Italy itself ... Francesca
How can you be tucked in and elegant but casual in Kenmore square? They manage and some of the best service ever in a city not know for it. I had the salmon and it was probably the best salmon I ever had!
Blue Ribbon Brasserie is a beautifully designed spot in Boston, offering a mix of great food and fantastic cocktails. While service can be a bit slow at times, the experience is overall amazing. The shrimp cocktail, foie gras on toast, and country pate are delicious choices. The flounder, fried chicken, and salmon are simple yet tasty options. The ragu is a must-try for Italian cuisine lovers, with the ragu being as good as it gets. The cocktails are strong and the crème brûlée is a perfect way to finish your meal. Highly recommended for upscale lunch or casually upscale dinner. Although there were some small issues with service, the staff is apologetic and ensures a pleasant dining experience.
