Bova's Bakery Reviews
By far the best place for pastries in North End. The staff is very kind and helpful, especially to someone who wasn’t from the area. The pastries were the best I’ve ever had! I will absolutely come here again and will tell everyone I know about them.
This place is a 10/10!! There is this sweet lady there that was patient with me when I had to ask questions and the atmosphere was welcome and calm (even though it was shoulder to shoulder)! I wanted to try a real Boston Cream Cake and I did and it was amazing but I also got a Boston Cream Donut….I would drive all the way from Tennessee again for one of these!!! Yum!! Thanks for a great experience!!

Bova's Bakery, located near the Freedom Trail, offers a delightful selection of desserts. Despite the lively atmosphere, the efficient service ensures a short wait. This bakery is renowned for its delicious cannolis, including an Oreo option and a highly recommended salted caramel cannoli, making it a popular destination in Boston. Customers praise the friendly staff, who provide a positive experience, often going out of their way to ensure guests get their favorite pastries, such as TIRAMISU, which is considered the best in America. The bakery's mini pastries, bread, and other offerings are highly recommended, with some customers struggling to limit their purchases to just one item. The cannolis, in particular, are praised for their perfect sweetness and less sweet ricotta flavor, which is preferred over a nearby competitor. While parking can be challenging, the tasty treats make the visit worthwhile. The bakery does not have a seating area or offer to-go boxes. Many visitors leave with cookies, florentine, and other favorites, making Bova's Bakery a must-visit spot for exceptional desserts.
