BRED - Lower Mills Reviews
Delicious! Burgers & Cousin Stizz fries were so good!
Not a sit down place but a fun gem of Caribbean flair to traditional burgers and sandwiches. I got the BRED salmon burger (no slaw) and oxtail fries. They were very rich and yummy, so I recommend sharing. I am a big eater but I couldn't finish even though I wanted to keep going.
Things to know:
- Sandwiches do not come with sides but seem reasonably priced. All are customizable to preference.
- Parking is primarily street parking.
- Ordering is walk up to kiosk.
I've experienced both take out and dine in and the quality of the food has been consistently enjoyable.

BRED - Lower Mills is a beloved restaurant known for its delicious and well-made food. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, including Eudine, Timiya, and Telsin, and enjoy the cozy, although small, space. The menu features a variety of favorites such as burgers, sandwiches, and mac n cheese, with some saying their burgers are the best in Boston, better than many fancy restaurants. The Yosemite burger is praised for being perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful, and topped with great toppings on a fluffy bun. The chicken, cheese burgers, and sweet potato fries are also favorites, made with love and consistently delicious. Special mentions include the beef slider and the Bred catered mac n cheese, which comes in three varieties—truffle, buffalo, and regular baked—and is highly praised for its freshness. The beignets are a sweet treat, light and flaky, topped with powdered sugar. Customers recommend BRED for tasty, well-prepared food and friendly atmosphere, though some note that the salmon burger has become spicier than before.
