As a local we really enjoy Cafe Sauvage and try to go frequently. Staff, food and ambiance are terrific.
Such a lovely neighborhood gem. Food is always terrific. Great warm, welcoming spot. Nice wine. Great service. Plus, fried zucchini @
The restaurant is under staffed. The wait person we had was wonderful but she was overseeing the entire restaurant with only one helper to assist. It would be good to have a few wines that are not blends. The food was magnificent and I will certainly return again.
What a nice surprise to find Cafe Sauvage. The place is charming and small and considering the size (and it was full) it was surprisingly quiet). Our server was terrific- helpful and attentive. The menu was fairly small but had a lot of interesting options. I opted for the Sole which was 2 large pieces of fish in a light lemon sauce with capers on a bed of perfectly cooked broccolini. My friend had the salmon which she reported to be delicious. We also split the roasted apple and fresee salad which actually would have made a nice dinner with the addition of a protein. We were too full to have dessert. Alsom We each had a cocktail. The bill was about $60 a person not including tip which I thought was quite reasonable for Boston. We were going to Jordan Hall so this was about a 20 minute walk down Mass Ave. Would definitely go there again and try some of the other items on the menu.
The food was delicious and our server was very nice and helpful. The only complaint is how fast the food came out. We would have appreciated a little more leisurely pace.
The quiche was very good, so the fries. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended. Btw, limited space between tables - an additional French touch ;)
Cute and cozy, pretty good food

Worst customer service experience I’ve had. A staff member accidentally spilled a full glass of orange juice I ordered all over my clothes, soaking everything. While a few employees were apologetic, management poorly addressed the situation. I was still charged for the spilled drink (it was removed after asking) and only given a small discount on one of the several items that were ordered for the table. As a tourist about to catch a flight, this caused a major inconvenience, as I had to rush back to my hotel to shower and change. Accidents happen, but how management handled this was unacceptable. I won’t be returning.
Service was very polite. I took the recommendation of other reviews and got the duck eggs benedict. It was good, but a small portion compared to some other dishes. The coffee was good!

Food is not as impressive as what I learned online. Service is really bad. The waitress is too busy to care with a condescending manner.

Service was nice. Food was under seasoned and partially bland. Menu selection was great but preparation was lacking. Atmosphere is packed which is what you are signing up for. Would not recommend.
Food and drink were delicious. I love sole and they prepared it perfectly. Service was sufficient. I'll go back
just moved to the neighborhood, this place is a 10/10. you must go!
