This restaurant was a great visit. The staff was attentive and all really polite. I enjoyed the drinks, but my entree was okay. I had steak frites and the steak wasn’t particularly flavorful. However, I’d come again because it wasn’t that bad and I’d be curious to try something else to see how they do on other menu items.

We made a reservation for a larger group. When the place is busy there it typically a wait time. Warm and comfortable ambience. We enjoyed the service and the food there.

Awesome little french restaurant with a cute design an authentic atmosphere. The staff are nice and the service is great. The portions are generous. The french onion soup, OG french toast, and ferrero latte were all really good.

I really like the duck Benedict but matcha latte is not impressive. Anyways it was one of my worst dining experiences, the black female waitress kept asking us to order or check and interpreted our discussions. She even asked us whether we two could squeeze on the same side, sounds pretty ridiculous.

Outstanding breakfast foods for vegetarians and everyone else. Cappuccino was very good, but a thumbs down for their espresso.

I had the avocado toast with nova and egg. It was fantastic. The food looks like artwork. Wonderful coffee selections as well. Couldn't recommend more highly. The owner was so nice as well.

Food here is amazing. We have only been for breakfast but the duck eggs Benedict is out of this world. The mama breakfast was my go-to during pregnancy. The service could improve a bit as we felt rushed out the door during our meal but the food is so tasty it doesn’t matter.

Pretty solid, pricing is expensive.

The black sesame latte is not what I expected and I would say was my least favorite dish.

The Yassa chicken sandwich was okay, the flavors weren’t overwhelming or strong. Mostly a lot of carrots. The salad was the star of the show for me.

Would come here next time to try other dishes, since I don’t think I ordered the right things.

A slice of both Paris and lush jungle awaits in this lively neighborhood gem, which is just as it’s always been. Regardless of whether you're comfortably squeezed into the main dining room with friends and family, seated solo at the bar, or sprawled out in the sun while people watching on the spacious Mass Ave patio, the charm of this institution endures.

The contemporary French menu is equal parts modern and nostalgic, with an African creativity to boot.

Friendly staff are on hand to offer guidance and share their favorite selections, but you'll certainly want to indulge in a variety of classics like steak frites, if only for the delicious fries. Start things off right by ordering the crispy zucchini, or sample the bonne bouche and saucisson sec from the charcuterie menu. Try the savory Swordfish drizzled with a miso-glazed reduction and plated with delicious oyster mushrooms for a pleasing main dish. *Or you can never go wrong with their burger.*

Bravo et merci beaucoup , Antoine and Anaïs Lambert.

Just had Thanksgiving breakfast there. They were the only restaurant around open for breakfast and they handled the crowd expertly and with confidence in a tiny intimate space. Service was friendly and efficient while the food was out of this world. Make sure you have a meal at Cafe Sauvage when you're in Boston!

So the good to start, the burger was amazing. Now the not so good, the steak was inedible, it tasted like it has been broiled and the service was terrible. We told the waiter the steak was inedible and he stared at me blankly and said nothing….

My date and I were lucky to snag a table on a busy Saturday night! The mocktails were divine (highly recommend self care!) and the main courses did not disappoint. We couldn’t resist the desserts, and the profiteroles were wonderfully presented. The staff were warm and attentive without hovering. Don’t miss this gem if you’re in the neighborhood!!
