We just love Cafe Landwer -- Beacon Street. The food is wonderful, but the reason we love it so much is the staff -- every one, waitstaff and busstaff, is incredibly warm, welcoming, friendly and accommodating to our every nuance. It's like going to a friend's home, but a friend who serves you just what you want.
Lively neighborhood restaurant with outdoor seating, great food (unique flavors, comfort food, delicious, etc.), great service, interesting ambience (tiles, booths, sort of diner meets brasserie cool ambience). Never fails. I've gone often and have taken many different friends and family members and it's always a hit. Highly recommend.
We had an excellent experience at Cafe Landwer on Beacon street today welcoming some out-of-town guests. The team were very accommodating since some of the party were stuck in traffic, and we got off to a late start waiting for them. Everyone enjoyed their food and their beverages.
