Subpar coffee which was surprising cause I love caffe nero. Hoping it was just a one-time thing.

We stopped here for breakfast one morning. The place was not too busy and they took our order right away. The coffee was good and hot.
The food was warm and tasty. For what we needed it was good. The inside of the location was very cute. It had plenty of tables, bookshelves, and areas where you could be by yourself. However, I would call out if it was busy, it might be loud.

This specific Nero used to be my favorite in the city, but one security guard has turned it into a hostile environment.
A friend and I sat down at a table to save it and to decide what we want, and in 5 minutes the security guard came past us three times yelling “don’t forget to order something” at us. One time he did this from the top of stairs.
This is terrible customer service. I understand this is downtown and you have to be careful, but we left without buying anything because we were so uncomfortable.

Weak coffee, weak service, but plenty of seating for working on a laptop. Old-school coffee, kind of tastes like cafe bustelo.
The café itself is charming, but the customer service was surprisingly rude. The coffee was overpriced and didn’t justify the cost—especially with an added 0.30 eat-in fee. Overall, not worth it. I won’t be returning to this chain

Caffe Nero is usually our go-to when we are international so we were excited to come across one while visiting Boston. The atmosphere at this location is great. But that’s about it. If I could give service a zero I would. The woman who took our order was rude and had an attitude. Everybody was moving at a snails pace and looked bothered to have to make coffee.
I’m also not certain we were charged correctly because we didn’t get that much and the total was $25. I saw $0.30 “eat-in” fees applied to each item even though we carried our own stuff to the table and cleaned up after ourselves. Maybe that was the fee just to breathe the air. Anyway, definitely not going back there.

Would recommend getting coffee here or hanging out here to study. Cozy vibes and lots of seating and outlets. I got a latte and it was really good. I’m excited to go back.

Great service, atmosphere, and coffee! I'd love to try more of what they have on the menu. Sadly, I was only in town for the marathon. However, as someone who loves a good cafe spot to do work and sip on coffee, this is a great spot!

Today I went into cafe Nero, I was on a call but I was planning to order something. The barista comes up to badger me while I’m on a call to tell me I need to order something. I replied back saying I will but I’m on a call and then he proceeds to say I’ve been timing you and it’s been 30 mins, it was 20 mins and I was on a work call. I was indeed planning on getting a takeout drink which I told him but he was passive aggressive and I left.

Exactly what I needed this afternoon. Space. Cozy chair in a corner by a fire place. Excellent latte and ham and cheese croissant.

Cappuccino and latte I ordered were plain with no coffee flavor. Service was bad and rude. Will never go back to Nero.
