The guy who made my coffee took it to the back instead of making it in front of me. It felt so awkward, I left my coffee there. I would never go back there.

Charged me $7.50 for a small, 8oz Black Forest latte with no whipped cream - definitely ripped off:(

Cozy space with good coffee and food. Great place to work or study.
Coffee is good - sandwiches are tasty, albiet a bit pricy for what they are.
I loved the atmosphere; I felt like I was in a movie while drinking hot chocolate.

I can make better
The food and service here were both lovely! We were a bit frustrated that most of the tables were taken up by a person on a laptop who had clearly been there for a long time. It makes it really hard to find a table when we stop in.

Bald guy is super unfriendly, bad service and super grumpy if you don’t give a high tip.
Before going to the US I was very afraid about the tipping culture, the experience here at Caffe Nero just confirmed my doubts.

Store manager was rude. We held the door open for our friend as they were trying to find their keys. We weren’t lollygagging, just not being aware that cold air was getting in but the door wasn’t held open to be disrespectful. We were waiting on our friend to find their keys in their bag as they were walking out. The store manager yells at us to shut his door. When we graciously explained why the door was held open the manager said, “I don’t want to hear it.” We’ll be heading to the summer street location moving forward

I stopped by Caffè Nero near Macy’s in Downtown Boston when I really needed a good cup of coffee — and this place absolutely delivered. While signing up for their rewards program, I was lucky enough to get a free drink, so I went for a 16 oz Thermos Latte. It was delicious and exactly what I needed to enjoy the Christmas vibe in the city.
The staff was supportive, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I used to visit Caffè Nero often when I lived in the UK and was always a fan of their coffee. Walking into this location brought back the same familiar feeling and quality — and honestly, Boston itself gives a little bit of that England vibe, which made the moment even more special.
Overall, a wonderful spot to grab a warm drink, relax, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Highly recommend this café if you’re in Downtown Boston!
