Amazing little diner!! Great service and great food. We were visiting Boston for several days and stayed in an AirBnB right next door. We ate breakfast or lunch every day we were there! Can't wait to come back and visit again!
I came all the way from Edison nj to get this famous turkey hash that my husband bragged about I got eggs and home fries as well the food was good but then I saw a long piece of hair in my food I was so pissed never again I spent 50 + on breakfast for 2 just to have hair in my food not good put on hair nets or something please
Best hidden gem in Boston! Everyone there makes you feel like a regular, they provide great food with kindness and care. I personally love the chocolate chip griddle cakes!
Egg sandwich and pancakes were very tasty but I wish the home fries were of the crispy variety. Coffee was not bad but weak. We got two coffees and two entrees and it came out to $55 after tax and tip.
Great tucked away neighborhood spot! Old timey charm. Got the turkey hash — good, but not what I was expecting. Everything else was delicious, especially the pancakes!
Food is excellent, great place for a classic diner breakfast. However, our waitress in particular was a little rude.
The service was amazing. Staff were very nice. The food was also very good. The food was good. The eggs were very tasty. Would come here again.

Good food so not saying that but the service and price was awful 20 dollars for a blt I asked how much it was cuz the counter guy just took the 20 and put it in his pocket and he then said oh 19.23 I said that’s not what the website says and I just said it’s fine and walked away cuz he was ready to fight about it so I will not be back but the blt was great ??

A great, classic American diner!
This is exactly what you expect when you go to a diner.
Friendly and attentive service, as well as a large selection of breakfast dishes. You can also have lunch here.
The prices are reasonable and I can highly recommend starting your day here!
Vegetarian options: Of course there are also many things without meat.
Parking: I was there on foot, but it is in a residential area so you can probably find a parking space there.
Kid-friendliness: Children can also eat here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Possible.

Cool spot. It’s hard to under-season corned beef hash but they managed it spectacularly. And the toast was rubbery.

The grilled banana bread was the highlight of breakfast. It has crispy edges and a wonderfully soft chew.
Charlie’s is hands down my favorite breakfast spot in Boston. The service was fantastic, coffee refills were fast, and everything was delicious.

The breakfast here is pretty good and about what you’d expect for diner food. The turkey hash was decent as well. Prices were definitely higher compared to similar places in town.
