Anchovies is a cozy and fun spot located in the South end of Boston. Despite being packed, the service is friendly and fast, especially at the bar. The food, including fried ravioli, truffle fries, bruschetta, and buffalo wings, comes out quickly and does not disappoint. The ambiance has a special, local feel, and the place plays popular music, making it a great spot for socializing and late-night eats. The restaurant also offers delicious pancake platters, meatballs, and refreshing drinks, especially large martinis. Customers highly recommend trying the Caesar salad, which is drenched in dressing and cheese, and the mozzarella sticks are to die for.
