City Bar is pretty good for a bar inside of a hotel. The main hotel bar was so busy and I wanted to find a quieter spot for a quick drink and snack. Glad I stumbled upon this place as its exactly what I was looking for! It doesn't have the most extensive menu and the bartenders are a little clueless on how to make basic drinks (the bartender didn't know how to make a Negroni so I had to order one of their set cocktails) but overall decent experience. Ended up here after a long conference day with a couple of coworkers. We weren't up for heading out to eat, and after a quick glance at the menu decided we'd just stay put -- drinks and burgers were really all we needed. We got a high top table by the bar. The space was a little cramped because of the crowd around the bar, but the chairs were comfortable and the table was big enough to accommodate all of our plates and drinks, which is sometimes a rarity. I don't what crap people are talking about here...but for a bar in the Westin, I really like the place. Beer-I love the first thing I tried...the Juicy. It was 4.5/5. I'm a bit of a beer snob. Wasn't too bad price wise-as things go in Boston. Food-I had a late night burger. The burger was solid. Fries were phenom.
