Quality products and convenience at premium prices. Wide variety of produce available. Great in a pinch but wouldn't shop here on the regular. Love the coffee, baked goods and sandwiches when I'm feeling like splurging.

Great sandwiches and coffees, natural and organic products!

Great neighborhood grocery store and an excellent coffee bar! Plus - Wonderful staff!

Took them 15 minutes to slice a bagel and put cream cheese on it and even then they still weren’t done!

I’ve been wanting to try this place because it looked pretty good from the outside…it is not. Very basic items for an outrageous price, might as well go to Whole Foods, they would actually be cheaper. What really got me though was them asking for a tip and it wasn’t a tip for a sandwich that was made, it was a tip on a single grocery item that I bought. So basically they wanted a tip for me coming inside, picking out subpar brownies and paying for them. The brownies were also awful

Great neighborhood place; I go for the lox and bagel sandwich. Prices are very expensive.

Great little store in the heart of JP. People are really nice and there is a good selection of grocery items. While everything is very expensive, it is high quality.

UPDATE: the owner of city feed received well my review and critic and he refunded the sandwiches. I am happy that they paid attention to the customers and reached out. Looking forward to enjoy their delicious sandwiches in the future. Leaving my previous review for accountability purposes.‐--------------On 12/31 my husband and I went to City Feed for our last lunch of the year, craving their delicious Italian sandwiches. Unfortunately, to our disappointment, we received bagels instead of the regular bread we expected. The total cost for both sandwiches was almost $30, and we were more than willing to pay for them, as it was a special treat for us. Additionally, we purchased a pumpkin pie and cheese to support the business, bringing our total bill to $70. I originally tried to reach out through an Instagram message because we noticed a crowd at the business, and we didn't want to cause any inconvenience for the employee(s) responsible for making the sandwiches or taking our order. ...But,they didn't see their message despite of have more recent posts...It would have been appreciated if we were informed that they were out of the regular bread, allowing us to decide whether we wanted the alternative or choose a different sandwich. I believe this is the minimum expectation for an order, especially when each sandwich costs around $15.

I've been going here for the last 15 years and absolutely adore this JP neighborhood spot. I always get the number 12 roast beef untoasted and a sticky bun and a few groceries like some local cheese or a loaf of bread. The sandwich prices are a bit steep but I enjoy the fact that they use iggy bread and partner with local bakeries. The actual groceries and produce are on the steeper end with okay quality, I honestly think you'd get more for your buck at the Whole Foods down the street. Overall, a good local spot for some sandwiches (I recommend calling in to order your Sammie's ahead of time during lunch rush and the morning) and not a bad spot to grab some small things in a pinch.

Great little neighborhood market! Excellent sandwiches and customer service. Fresh vegetables and fruits, good selection of grocery staples. The staff on the evening I went was friendly and I was happy to see a varied selection of Coffee (including George Howell Terrier). They have an area to enjoy your sandwiches facing the street, high counters as well as table tops very comfortable and cozy. Street parking can be challenging... or at least it was when I went and I appreciate the fact they were open later. Respectfully Reviewed.

As a recent member of the JP neighborhood, I was so excited to try CityFeed having heard from so many locals how great it is. I have been 3 times, and each time left incredibly frustrated and disappointed. The first time, I ordered a latte before work. It wasn’t crazy busy, but the employees stood around chatting without making the drink. I waited 15 minutes before they handed me a burnt mocha. The second time I ordered two salmon bagel sandwiches, two regular coffees, and two muffins. The total came to $50, but ok lox can be expensive. When I took a bite I noticed there was hardly any salmon. I opened the bagel, and found 1 thin slice. I took a photo, as my partner and I were shocked. The third and final visit, I tried the Turkey and Brie warm sandwich half. For $9, I received an inedible sandwich as the bread was so burnt it couldn’t be eaten.Needless to say, I’m done. Outrageously expensive, some of the worst food I have ever waisted money on and staff who make customers feel uncomfortable. Do not recommend.

Fresh produce. Kitchen staples. Fresh pies on Fridays. Local. Prices are high and keep inching higher. Coffee bar and salads and sandwiches. Call ahead for sandwiches as they can take a while to make at peek times. Employees are generally friendly and hard working.

VERY unfriendly/judgemental staff despite the “diversity” in people working there. Dont expect a hi how are you today…I’ve been going here for over 10 years. The english muffins, breakfast sandwiches, and tea are great. The masking 3 years after pandemic is not only unsanitary but also concerning. Management & service has gone downhill over the last decade.

Great verity of goods, take out food made to order, quality produce section. I like to grab lunch there, but morning coffee and such are also good.
