I have lived in Chinatown for 3 years. Everyday, I walk home from work at night and I see that this bakery gets their food delivered in a truck pre-made. The only bakery that bakes their food fresh is Ho Yuen Bakery, which is additionally the most affordable.

The pastries are delicious and plentiful.
They carry a variety of breads and small dessert cakes. I would definitely recommend trying this place for a sweet treat.

Corner Cafe & Bakery is an Asian bakery located in the heart of Chinatown.
The staff are friendly, though there is little interaction with them as it is a pick your own, as most Asian bakeries are. there is a $10 minimum to use a credit card, but getting a decent amount of pastries will hit this easily.
The pastries are pretty average to other Asian bakeries in the area. The Pineapple bun is good, and they offer multiple options like roll cakes, hot dog bao, and more.

Nothing special. Only bought a pineapple bun though, so didnt try anything else. It wasnt bad, but wasnt great. But the big turnoff was no bag was given. When asked, demanded $0.25.

had the red bean egg yolk buns and they were quite tasty. had the right flavors but not overly sweet. happy that the locals also vouch for the spot. not sure if there are better spots, but would recommend grabbing something when in chinatown

“How could I not stop? Those colorful, tempting treats were practically seducing me from the display case, ‘EAT ME! Late at night, I gave in without a fight… and every sweet bite was worth it

Cramped little space, but totally worth it for the price and variety. One of my favorite little treat spots

Their vanilla bean cake with fresh berry filling has become my go-to for every birthday. The baker uses real vanilla pods you can see in the batter. Decorations are elegant but not overwhelming, just had them recreate my grandmother's lace pattern in buttercream.

The pork bun is the size of my face and has pork and pieces of water chestnuts, mushroom, sausage, and salted egg. Defo going back for these
It’s in china town. I feel it’s little china to taste chinese sweets. Staffs are kind too

Pastries were good. A little on the sweet side for my taste, but I also prefer a barely sweet kind of flavors. The rice cakes were phenomenal
