Really really good pub food, classic underground/cellar style bar, great music playing - came in for lunch, the guy manning the place solo took care of everyone with ease. Great spot, and will certainly come back the next time I’m in town!!! Awesome spot. Two lunches and two beers with a good tip was 60 bucks or so.

I lived in Boston for 10 years and somehow never went to this place. Came back to visit and popped in for lunch, the food was amazing (and whoever was in charge of the music was doing a fantastic job). Highly recommend!

Foods good but doesn’t make up for the rude bartender and hostile service. You would have thought I bullied him in kindergarten the way he treated us. Very confusing. And I still left a great tip because I bartended for years and understand the grind but still there’s a difference between strictly business service and straight up hostile.

You come here for the Tavern vibes and a place to grab a drink with friends. Filled with locals. Tourists mostly don't know that this place exists, which is nice. Been coming here for 5+ years and have so many memories here. The drinks are good, food is good. This place is our local drinking/meet up spot in the Back Bay.
Great place! Loved the meatloaf burger with chipotle glaze. And the service was amazing.

Biggest issue is their AC it is one big central vent that can freeze you :-). Then you get a bunch of idiots who spread along the bar as if they are have it for themselves! Not civility!
