The drinks are good. The food is meh. Served stale chips and guacamole lacking flavor. Our mains were fine. And service is hit and miss. First time was amazing. The second was basically non existent.
Boston was an underwhelming experience but this place was the highlight of our trip. Felt like I was eating my moms frijoles and arroz. I asked for an elote but got esquites instead, and I’m glad I did! It satisfied my pregnancy craving for the authentic taste! I’m about to force my husband to make the four hour trip here just to eat their food again and try something else in the menu. They also accommodated our daughter and were very kind to us.
This place feels like a neighborhood secret — tucked away but always serving up bold, authentic Mexican food. The mole is rich and comforting, and their guac is some of the freshest I’ve had in the city. Friendly staff and a laid-back vibe make it easy to relax and enjoy the meal from start to finish.
