I didn't get to eat there because the manager treated us like trash, I booked a high top through this app and modified it 10 minutes before to add a 3rd person but according to him, open table is the one to blame because the app doesn't let people know that by modifying the booking, it changes to a standard table. After that he said he only had what he offered, all this time he was using a very rude tone, I thought maybe he wasn't the one to ask because he might not be able to do more, so I asked him for the manager and that's when things escalated, he was walking and said "of course, I'll call him", he took 2 more steps and then turned on his feet really quick and said "nice to meet you, I'm the manager". I lost my temper, never in my life I had met someone as rude as this guy, the staff looked scared, if this is the way he treats customers, I can't imagine how he treats the staff. Of course we didn't stay, and don't recommend anyone to go there, the high top is an improvised tiny table in the middle of the walking path with low bar chairs, you can tell is set up just for the games because it is on the way, the TV on the second floor of the restaurant is very small and the space is super dark. Despite the manager needing anger management lessons, the brightside is that the rest of the staff is very polite and nice.
Overall good experience my wife's dinner was overcooked and waitress and management promptly took care of us. My dinner was perfect. Different type cocktails which were delicious! The staff helps each other which I never observed that anywhere else which provides great service!
Good staff and good atmosphere. A great place for this Englishman to watch the England game.

A big place, lots of tables, english bar vibes. It was pretty good.
Service was good.
I had the cheesey leek potato pot pie that came with a salad. I liked the salad a lot and the pot pie was okay.
Vegetarian options: One vegetarian pot pie (had cheese on it, not vegan). I don't think there were too many other meal options. May have been other appetizers that we're veg like pickles or pretzels.

The Elephant & Castle pub in Boston is a fantastic place for a great evening. During our five-day stay, it was the perfect end to the day every night. Kudos to Jimmy C. behind the bar—he mixed exceptional drinks and poured perfectly chilled beers that were always a treat. The atmosphere in the pub was cozy and inviting, making you feel immediately at home. Another highlight was the breakfast in the adjacent hotel, which impressed with its variety, ranging from good to very good. All in all, a place I'd happily recommend—especially thanks to Jimmy's great service and the overall great experience! Cheers! 🍻

Great service. Tried the fish and chips, shepherd's pie and steak pie. All tasted delicious. Found also nice Carlsberg beer.
Very reasonably, normal priced compared to all the other pretentious tourist trap restaurants. Loved it.

I'm super happy from this place! We stopped to drink some beer and lost our time there. I recommend this place to everyone!

After looking at the reviews and wanting a truly good British breakfast we researched this place and thought it was a safe bet.
Where to start ???? our server while pleasant had the energy of a wet fish. I had a few question about the British breakfast, being British and living in the states for 30 years I wanted to make sure my historically delicious breakfast would be authentic.
How sad I was when my breakfast arrived and my eggs were so runny both the white and the yolk. Apparently the baked beans were made by B and M and not our beloved Heinz. I didn’t even eat my sausage as I tasted my fiancés and honestly they tasted like a soggy fermented sock!!! The bacon was not British back bacon which I also expected. So I ate the toast the potatoes and half of the tomato and mushrooms which were yummy but they could not redeem the sadness of the breakfast. My fiancés eggs were totally hard as he said how easy is it to ruin a fried egg.
When our server returned to give us the check not once seeing my plate was still full did he ask how was the meal. I have a rule I will only give my opinion when the server asks.
So here is my advice if anyone from elephant and castle are reading this. Please please please for the love of god switch to Heinz beans and source yourself a more authentic British sausage because the one you are serving is a poor excuse for the “Amazing banger”
Cozy atmosphere, nice dinner with my wife, reuben was great, wife said falafel wrap was delicious! Obviously thoroughly enjoyed my pints of guinness

Terrible service. The staff all hung out together at the bar and myself and others were ignored, forgotten about or had to physically move up the bar to be seen and get service. I think any manager would have told them to go roll silverware or do something productive because the boisterous hanging out was very distracting from their jobs.

The food was not really good and actually horrible compared to other restaurants in the area where I’ve had their Sunday roast, I also wanted Jameson wings, but I was told no, they have Jameson chicken so I asked if I could get wings and just have it tossed in the Jameson sauce like the chicken and I was told no, so this is a one and done and if you are coming here for the Sunday roast just go somewhere else instead
Never had a worse treatment from who seemed to be the manager.
Absolutely disrespectful the little fella with a tattoo on his neck. He had a very aggressive tone with one of my friends for absolutely no reason. Never coming back here, there a thousand better pubs than this one.
Service was also very slow. Avoid.

Food was absolutely spectacular, better poutine than I've had anywhere in Canada.
Staff was a little absent and not very eager to help out even though it wasn't too busy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozy Spot for Classic Comfort Food
Stopped by Elephant & Castle after visiting the Boston Tea Party Museum, and it was a nice, cozy spot to warm up. Being from England, I love a good pot pie, so I was excited to see they had a pie flight with different options, including vegetarian, chicken, and another one I can’t remember.
I ordered mashed potatoes and a vegetarian pie, and my husband got chicken sliders. The food was decent—nothing mind-blowing, but definitely comforting. The space itself has a classic pub vibe, which added to the experience.
If you’re in the area and looking for something warm and hearty, it’s a solid option!
