Handy spot to visit before a show in the nearby theatre district. Good selection of foods, for all tastes. Be sure to leave PLENTY of room for dessert! Reasonably priced too with friendly and professional staff. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

The food was really good and a good selection of drinks. The pretzels specifically were great.

Looks very nice. Tried to order food on a not busy afternoon. Canceled the food after 30 min...just a sandwich. Super slow service and the music kills any good vibe...makes me want to sleep. Could be great but not today.

Came for the pie flight. I loved the shepherd's pie. My wife was partial to the potato and leek pie. Crisps and dip was excellent. Decent beer selection with a few local brews in addition to British staples. It was quiet here on a Sunday around 6 pm.

Stopped into E&C for the first time today! I had a quick lunch and it was delicious! I ordered the fish & chips entrée (subbed out fries for mashed potatoes) The fried fish filet was piping hot with a perfect light crispy batter! The tartar sauce was delicious too! The mashed potatoes were not warm but I still ate them! They put crispy French fried onions on top of the mashed potatoes. Delicious!

There weren't many patrons in the restaurant. I arrived around 100pm and was 10 minutes early for my reservation. The hostess at the front desk greeted me with a smile and brought me right over to a table. She also grabbed water for me. It took awhile for me to be acknowledged by a server though. Perhaps they were in between a shift switch. I wasn't in a rush anyway, so I wasn't bothered by it. When my server came over, she was very friendly and checked in on me a few times during the course of my meal. Overall I felt the food, prices and service were all reasonable. A few things could use minor improvements, but overall I enjoyed it. I will definitely return a second time as they have a great menu and I'd like to try other items on their menu!

The restaurant is within easy short walking distance of the Orange/Blue line State Street T station.

My friend and I each got the corn beef hash breakfast. It exceeded both of our expectations. The bloody Mary was spicy good for the morning time. It was so good. I even bought a jersey.

Worst ever I walked in with sandals and they said you have to have shoes on to be in here.

We have been staying next door at the club quarters hotel for the week, which has been great..

However - every morning that we have breakfast at the elephant and castle we have had the pleasure of being served by Ben. He has been the BEST server we have had and he really has made our time in Boston a pleasure. Thanks Ben - you’re the best

We stayed at the hotel next door, Club Quarters, and our breakfast was included. We enjoyed our breakfasts very much so we decided to try dinner and it was great as well. Devin was our bartender server and he was great! I'd love to give a shout out to our breakfast lady but can't remember her name. She was great! Everything we had at breakfast and dinner was delicious, hot and served quickly. I actually need to applaud the kitchen staff too, the unsung heros, for their consistently great food! Our stomachs thank you!

Not bad for frozen food... if you wonder if the pies are frozen, try asking the server to adjust the mini-pie flight to switch out one that you don't want...

Nice enough for an American style English pub. Good range of beers and food options. Service was slow seeing as there was hardly anyone else in the place- the waiter was standing and chatting to other wait staff for a long time. I had to go and ask for the bill.

Silly rules that make no sense whatsoever. It’s 12.30 lunch time 4 people in the restaurant section. All the tall è in the window free and not reserved. The lady would not let me sit in the window! She said she does not like to sit one person in the window!! So I walked out and went elsewhere! What a silly silly rule which makes zero sense considering no one was in there. Sort it out. Nothing like the service you actually get in the UK!
