What a great experience !! The ambience was perfect , and the hospitality was on Point . Food and drinks were delicious. Fresh, vibrant and everything we hoped for . We will definitely be back.

I had a really good time here. We came for the $1 wings and dumplings. The wings were great and the veggie dumplings were even better than the pork ones. We also got the Jalapeño Beef wontons which were delicious as well. The Green Machine drink was surprisingly well balanced and was worth getting a couple.

Fat Baby is a good time. The music was great! The food was pretty good too! Only thing that lacked was service, but it's understandable when there is one server, a runner, a bartender, and host in the restaurant. We went before it got busy so the service should have been better.

Bowls are a great serving size. Sushi was a little smaller. The drinks were good, but again small servings. I would suggest the bowls, lo mein, or pad thai. Although, be careful if you are sensitive to spice - most of the dishes we ordered had a kick to them. Great ambiance, great layout, would be a great date spot.

Had a 10/10 experience at fat baby tonight! Went to another restaurant and they forgot my dessert- the staff at fat baby curated a special dessert especially for me and made me feel like the only gal in the place. Manager kasie, server Maddie, and bartenders woodie and Shane were outstanding- definitely coming back!
Amazing food and drinks! Such a cute spot. Definitely gets a bit louder/more lively for a dinner vibe after 7:30pm on a Saturday. But it's one of my favorite places to eat always!

Total miss. The orange chicken was a major disappointment. The pieces were over-breaded, tiny flecks of chicken that were fried in old oil until completely burnt. The result was dry, bitter, and inedible — it ended up in the trash

A bit of a disappointing experience and false advertising. Only select rolls for Maki Mondays -a not really all you can eat all you can eat(no nigiri or sashimi) and it is order only 2 rolls at a time for two rounds then 1 at a time. Because of this we chose to hand rolls instead for a deal they have that is 4 for $21... except they are not actual hand rolls like you would see in other sushi restaurants. They are tiny sushi tacos, not as big as actual hand rolls, messy to eat and needed chopsticks to eat things out of them ie not hand rolls. And to be clear also served in taco trays that they stick to. The hands rolls themselves were good albeit small. However the spicy tuna one is not what you would expect as it was overloaded with chili. We observed other folks rolls and cant comment on taste obviously but smaller than other places. Otherwise nice atmosphere and solid service. Maybe will go back for different food options.

Yum Yum Yum!! An absolute must go to restaurant. Our waitress Brooke was a delight! So lovely, answered all our questions and was great with our kiddo. She was definitely busy with many tables but we never had our requests or table forgotten.
We sat outside, the area was clean and well maintained. I noticed several food delivery orders go out so I am sure the area knows how incredible the food is. A great sign! They got busy quickly after we arrived as well, another great sign!
The food absolutely did not disappoint!! The flavors and the portions were big and delicious. The cocktails were also a nice component to the meal. Truly one of the best restaurants we have visited in the Boston area. It feels fresh, flavorful and almost tropical like our home in Maui. So many similarities in the food we enjoy. I know this will forever be a place we will visit again and again.
We ordered Veggie Tempura and Dumplings for our appetizers. My husband and I, with our two year old kiddo, loved everything. The sauce with the tempura was addicting. The veggies were so good! Our little one couldn’t get enough of the sweet potatoes. The sauce the dumplings are cooked in is out of this world and I’d like to drink it all the time. It was a perfect balance of umami and tang and velvety smooth broth and is a perfect companion to the dumplings and fresh green onion and micro cilantro on top. I’ll dream of that until I have it again. We probably could have stopped there but we continued! (Spoiler alert: we had leftovers ☺️) For our entrees we ordered the coconut shrimp and the chicken lettuce wraps, as well as the spicy tuna poke. Perfection. Everything. It was amazing!!! The coconut shrimp was served with a spicy but fruity dipping sauce- so good! The shrimp were tender and enjoyably crispy. The chicken lettuce wraps were massive! The presentation was so beautiful and really accentuated the freshness of the dish. The slaw was spicy but kept us going back for more. Well, as much as we had room for. The spicy tuna poke tasted exactly like the poke we enjoy on Maui. It was a nice surprise to be so beautifully reminded of the home we love! The rice was cooked perfectly, the tuna was seasoned exactly like we hoped it would taste. The spicy oil on the plate allowed us to control the heat of our bites which I really appreciated!
I don’t think I could say one negative thing about visiting Fat Baby. We are so excited to come back and share with family and friends who are going to visit Boston. Thanks so much for a great experience!!
