“Wanted to give a nod to this spot before it blows up after everyone finds out about it, perhaps when Union Sq Farmers market returns.I'm a big breakfast sandwich guy and the Longganissa with the teriyaki flavor hits the spot and the bun is perfect as it soaks up the sauce and garlic.It's still an outpost and feels very homely but you get to see the kitchen and chat with the chef while awaiting your sandwich.I have yet to try their chicken sandwich but I only hear good things“

“I love Bright Light. It reminds me of growing up in a Filipino household, both because of the food and the atmosphere. When I’ve sat in, I’ve ended up chatting with others nearby and making new connections. The Bistek is perfect. The Pork Adobo is great. And the Halo-Halo is so fun and light and summery. I've tried some of the Jamaican items and have enjoyed those too. I’ve sat in, taken out, and ordered delivery. I recommend Bright Light to others all the time!“
