Solid Italian restaurant that is especially convenient for Celtics or Bruins games and concerts at TD Garden. It's a 10 minute walk to the facility. I would not say the food or service was exceptional, but very good and I would go there again.
The food and atmosphere were both great, loved the decor! The staff was super helpful with recommendations. Would absolutely return!
We always enjoy the food, like sitting at the bar & meeting interesting people. The server at the bar seemed a little overwhelmed, it took some time to get his attention & place our orders. And I wish they had the Women's final basketball game on the TV instead of soccer.
We go to Filippo's every time we are in the North End for a game or just visiting. If you're looking for authentic red sauce Italian this is the place. Their veal is also particularly excellent, the Saturday night is fantastic, light tender veal with mushrooms and lemon, incredible. Filippo's is an institution, with signed pictures from Presidents and more. Highly recommend for great drinks and Italian before a game.
Really great fast service. Staff very friendly. Interior design is super cool. Food was so so.
Great food--Pollo Lucia was excellent--just be sure to order a side of pasta to go with it. Cannoli and coffee were great too.
Great venue for attending events at TD Garden. Casual friendly atmosphere. Good service and food. Plentiful portions.
Eating dinner during the break at World Figure Skating Championships today, so time was of the essence. This delightful nearby gem was quick and the food was delicious! Best veal parmigiana I've had in years! My daughter loved her chicken and eggplant parm as well. Also the Manhattan cocktail was superior!
great location for TD gardens. food was fine but unfortunately i wouldn’t return nor recommend

We arrived at this restaurant by chance.
The dishes are excellent and plentiful
The service is a bit average, orders are taken by the waiter at the same time as he serves other tables and runs. He doesn't take the time to take your order correctly. Damage...

We were really disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. Despite the positive reviews and the fact that it’s run by Italians, everything felt off. The service was extremely slow, which made the meal drag on unnecessarily. The espresso martinis were watery and lacked the strong, rich flavor you’d expect. Both veal dishes were similarly watery, and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh at all—definitely not what you’d hope for from an Italian restaurant. For the prices they charge, which aren’t too high but still significant, everything felt shockingly cheap. The food didn’t have the quality or flavor we were expecting, and honestly, it was some of the worst Italian food we've had. We’re not sure if this place is a tourist trap or if they were just having a bad, busy day, but it’s safe to say we won’t be returning. Very disappointing overall.

We came in late due to crazy traffic in Boston on a rainy night. The folks that greeted us were very friendly and immediately showed us to our table. We ordered an appetizer and drinks and also place our entree due to time constraints with a NHL game next door. My only complaint was the Lobster Ravioli was not made with fresh lobster. As soon as I bit into one, it was noticeable. The actual ravioli is nice and if it was fresh would have been incredible. The other meal was the Chicken Parm and that was tasty. Even though the Ravioli was not great, I'm still coming back and would suggest others do the same. Perfect location for a pre-meal before a game at the Garden.

Looks great on the hoof but was a big disappointment. The red sauce on the lobster ravioli was no better than canned. The waiter, who looks like he should know better, brought all the drinks with his hands all over the rim of each glass. Disgusting.
