As always, great service and great food. We were seated within minutes of our reservation time. Great spot to take the train from Beverly into North Station and just a 5 - 10 minute walk
We chose Filippo for the solid reviews and good proximity to the Garden. The menu had so many wonderful things to choose from. Ultimately we chose the lasagna and could not recommend it enough. Our server was very sweet, helpful, and made great recommendations on food, wine, and dessert. My only slight complaint is that it took too long to get our check after we had finished eating and were trying to get to a show. However, I chalked this up to Americans always being in a rush...
Didn't love the location at first, as it is on the outside edge of the north end in Boston. But it's very close to the train, and out of the way of all the tourist at this time of year. Food was very good and consistent. Very nice olive oil. Lovely bread. Good food. Very satisfactory
