They rushed us through dinner. And when I went to go sit at the bar, waiting for my Uber, they blew me off and said it was past last call (before 11pm) while everyone else around me was being served The food was decent (not great) but I will absolutely never go back based on the (lack of) service.

We had the perfect date night here! The steak tartare and scallops were absolutely amazing. My bf really enjoyed the foie gras and crème brûlée—though I feel really bad for the duckies 🥺. We also tried the oysters and Nutella mousse, and everything was delicious. Cozy Parisian vibe and great wine. Defff recommend for a romantic night out in Boston!

Steak frites was surprisingly really good!! Steak was super tender and well cooked. Brussels and arugula salad was also good. Cheese board was fine, tiny portions of cheese and really dry crackers. Wine was really good. Service was a bit lacking for how expensive it was.

Frenchie has always been a favorite - had the duck and was a little disappointed, boyfriend had the chicken and I was jealous. Wines are always great and it was lively.

A charming French style restaurant. My wife thought that their seasonal Sangria was some of the best she has ever had. I know that my Whiskey Fired Branzino was for sure one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. Did not have room for dessert.

Food was good but the restaurant lacked atmosphere (there wasn't any). The fire alarm went off not long after we arrived and the staff did very little to keep diners informed of what was happening. The alarm sounded until the fire department arrived to shut it off. We're unlikely to return.

Friendly staff, unique menu, fresh and flavorful options and very willing to accommodate food allergies!

Experience Frenchie's Wine Bistro

a charming place with that cozy Parisian café atmosphere in a super charming area of Boston. 💓✨

And in this cold autumn season, what we want most is a beautiful and comfortable café, right?

The restaurant has a beautiful greenhouse in the back, filled with natural light, which in my opinion is the most attractive feature of the place. It seems to transport you to another dimension, with a very different vibe that makes the experience unlike any other.

However, one important detail for today: the Halloween decorations ended up dominating the space and took away some of the charm. The decorations weren't pretty and weighed heavily on the atmosphere.

Still, the food was impeccable: we ordered a steak tartare that was perfect, a very delicious creamy truffle risotto, and for dessert, a chocolate mousse with Nutella, which was not only beautiful to look at but also very tasty. For drinks, I ordered a creamy espresso martini, and my friend ordered a strawberry cocktail.

The waiters were super friendly and attentive!

Overall, it was a delightful evening in Boston, with only a few details that prevented it from being perfect.* 🍷✨🇫🇷

Mediocre food, adequate service, a bit pricey, but overall a good space for meeting up with friends.

Grabbed a drink and snack here before heading to dinner. The bar area is nice and they have a solid drink menu. Oysters were fresh and very good.

Dinner at Frenchie Bistro last night was outstanding from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the kind of neighborhood spot that feels both sophisticated and comfortable. Our server, Sophia, provided exceptional service, attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. She made the evening feel special. The food was superb. The lamb chops were tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The steak frites hit all the right notes: juicy steak with crisp, golden fries. And the cassoulet was rich, hearty, and deeply satisfying — a true classic done right. Overall, Frenchie Bistro delivered on every front: impeccable service, delicious food, and a relaxed, elegant vibe. A true gem — we'll definitely be back.
