Best lunch place in Boston, its a fact. Prices cannot be beat, food quality is elite, the guys running the counter are blessed. Grab a slice, a calzone and a panzerotti and you are having yourself an amazing day.
This is the kind of place you don’t want to miss when eating in the city! Galleria Umberto wraps up Italian flavors and food culture in what they serve. The pizza was so fresh and wonderful. A friend recommended we try the arancini and panzarotti. We were not familiar with these dishes. The arancini is a ball of risotto rice stuffed with a filling of ground beef, tomato sauce, peas, and cheese, then breaded and deep fried. The panzarotti is a ball of mashed potatoes stuffed...
No frills. Just outstanding basic pizza. They have clearly mastered what they do and it tastes so fresh and flavorful! Great price. The line moves fast. It is cash only, so be prepared for that. Very good for a quick bite!
