Gigi is fantastic and has quickly become our neighborhood favorite in the south end. The food is consistently high quality, and the staff takes this restaurant to the next level. Ashley, Leo, Michael and Isaac go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and are genuinely happy to see you when you visit or simply walk by. This team has nailed the culture and it shows. Also the tiramisu is amazing. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

My fiancé and I are in Boston celebrating our anniversary and heard great things about Gigi. We order the vodka rigatoni and mushroom risotto. Both were great. Service was definitely mid level. Didn’t acknowledge our anniversary.

the restaurant is extremely loud. Probably not a good place for a first date. The calamari was so memorable in the wrong ways.

We had an amazing dinner at Gigi! The food was outstanding—the penne alla vodka was cooked perfectly, and the carbonara brought us right back to Italy with its authentic flavors. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a night out.
A special shoutout to our server Ashley—she was beyond amazing! Truly the sweetest, so attentive throughout the entire meal, and made us feel completely taken care of.
Highly recommend Gigi for anyone looking for delicious Italian food in Boston

From start to finish, the meal was exceptional. The seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and full of natural sweetness. The lobster, shrimp, and mussels were all expertly prepared, with each bite tasting like it came straight from the ocean.
The pasta dishes were equally impressive. The alla vodka sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right touch of tang, coating each piece of pasta beautifully. The fresh herbs and generous shaving of Parmesan elevated the flavors even more.
Service was just as flawless as the food. Our waiter, Acresio, was attentive, friendly, and always one step ahead—keeping our glasses full and making sure we had everything we needed without ever having to ask.
Presentation was spot-on, portions were generous without being overwhelming, and every bite left me wanting more. This is the kind of meal that reminds you how good Italian and seafood can be when made with care, quality ingredients, and great service.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for fresh seafood and authentic, flavorful pasta dishes.
