I like the decor and it seems like a hip place. The almond milk is trash. We threw it out.

Best coffee in the South End and the walk up window is a great option for neighbors with dogs and strollers. Highly recommend!

Pretty good coffee spot! Enjoyed their homemade vanilla flavor in the iced coffee, but the coffee was fine, nothing spectacular. The mixed berry scone was an amazing flavor, a little over baked so very hard outside but truly still a great treat. Will definitely come back for more baked goods!

Gluten free scones are amazing! Love their homemade coffee syrups too, it’s so hard to find non artificial syrups in the city!

Potato soup was tasteless and basically was dirty water with soggy pieces of bacon. Turkey sandwich is fine nothing special. I have tried to like this place multiple times but it is not good. They have gotten my order wrong and also didn’t give me a spoon for my takeout soup order

I absolutely love Greystone and am a big regular. I know they have technically always had the "no laptops" signs but they recently upgraded to bigger ones that say they will ask you to move. I totally understand what they are doing here trying to foster not only a working cafe but it would be nice if they could at least upgrade the working counter with stools with backs on them and if its not busy let people sit at normal tables. We are still paying customer and it truly is the best place to sit and do work

I visited this coffee shop both in Summer and Winter. It’s bright during the summer which is great to soak in the sun but also air conditioned inside and very cozy during the winter.
I tried during the summer the peanut butter cookie which is delicious. The sandwiches, didn’t try but they looked and smelled great. They have a patio for summer seating.
The coffee is great and service is fast. The line moves fast. You can order coffee on the outside or inside. But pastries and food only inside order. Staff is very friendly. Recommend trying this spot

Love the ambience of Greystone! It’s such a cute coffee shop nestled near Back Bay / South End. Their coffee is delicious and I love the rule “No laptops” to keep it a work free space. Folks were chatting and enjoying the atmosphere. The vanilla latte was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The black coffee was perfect on its own.
I docked one star for the food because while the steel cut oat was delicious the serving size is small for the cost. It comes in a small compostable bowl. For folks that are staying in, it may be better for serving size and environment to use a real bowl. Their pastries are otherwise delicious and they have GF options. Otherwise 5 stars!

I stopped by this cafe while exploring new spots in the city (though I don’t live here). It’s a cute place, though on the smaller side with limited seating. There’s outdoor seating as well, but it’s definitely more enjoyable when the weather is warmer. The staff were friendly, and I didn’t have to wait long for my order. There’s a separate pick up window/area to the right of the registers which is nice! I tried the iced vanilla almond milk latte, and it was delicious—definitely made with high-quality beans. I didn’t get a chance to try the food or pastries, but everything I saw looked tempting. It’s a great spot for a coffee catch-up with a friend or for working/studying.

I live in the area; always see a line so I took my adult daughter at 11am on a weekday when it wouldn’t be too busy to try this place out. This is not a neighborhood gem it’s an odd place. My daughter thought she heard her name but saw no food —10 minutes later we checked with the girl at the counter who rudely said it’s over there (was watching us wait and never said anything huh) Sad cold ham sandwich, weird flavor cheese biscuit, latte was ok but not hot since it sat there for 10 minutes. Again not a neighborhood place maybe ok for takeout if you order ahead inside is packed with oversized strollers and a “see and be seen crowd” don’t bother way better options.
Ordered the Morning Bun, which was delicious!
Also ordered a vanilla latte, which was luke warm & watery.
Difficult to find a spot to sit.
