I normally do not leave bad reviews, but here are the pros and cons.

Cons: The music is very loud and you can't hear each other.

Many of the guest did not act appropriately for the location by putting their feet on adjacent chairs. One of the manager was also walking around the whole restaurant with a toddler in a carriage.

The service is extremely slow. We ordered an appetizer and main plate. However, they served both at the same time. It was 1.5 hours later that we recieved our food, and again, it was both the appetizer and main plate together. The waitress didn't ask if we wanted to receive the food together. I even mentioned that I no longer wanted the appetizer after waiting 1.5 hours, and all they said was the food is prepared and already served.

The food arrived cold, and when i mentioned it to the waitress, they suggested heating it up, which would lead to over cooking the meat. They serve the salad with no dressing. The tostones were cold and not crispy. The shrimp Alajillo had flour mixed to make the sauce heavy. The mofongo is $15.00, and the small plate of shrimp is $17.00. They asked what we wanted with the mofongo and failed to mention it would be a separate cost. Paying $17.00 for a small bowl of shrimp is insane. And due all the extras, we paid $250 for 3 people ( drinks included). The food is mediocre and not worth the high price. For this price, I can go to an Italian stake house with better and more sophisticated menus.

Pros: The drinks are good. The place is only worth to grab a few drinks and have apps. But the service is extremely slow, expensive and you will receive cold food. The location looks really nice after the remodeling.

Been here a couple times. Service really varies. Some days service is 10:10 others its 2/10. The staff can sometimes get really rude when you complain about clear problems with your food. Music is always extremely loud as well wether your inside or outside. Not the best dominican restaurant in Boston. They could do better

The closing process is awfull, they not respect the dinner time even if is near to the time for closing. We know at what time they close but some servers are so disrespectful. As a restaurant need to work in this image for future customers !

Horrible people that work there- part of my order was missing with delivery and basically accused me of lying- they lost a client for good.

I had some oxtail. The it was the worse I've had in my life. It was all bone and no meat. The few pieces that had meat; it was as if chewing gum. The rice was really hard. I'm thinking they gave me what was left over from lunch. The tostones tastes as if frozen then airfried to warm up, it was like eating a rock. Your better off getting food at any corner store for $9 bucks a plate. Instead of paying $25 to $30 for horrible food. I was not going to review the place until i got food poisoning.

Food is not that good, ordered the Salmon with coconut sauce and the coconut sauce was good but the salmon was a joke, a whole brick they served me. When I presented the situation, they told me thats how its made, I said I could do a much better job myself, how can it be made this hard? They said "Yeah that's how its made here." If they were going to serve this quality of food, I am not sure how people are still going to this place when there are much better options around the area. I was going to let it slide and asked them to replace the meal with something. Restaurant 101 is the guest that is not happy with their dish, simply replace the dish to ensure customer loyalty. But they got that wrong, they said if I want to replace it, they will charge me for the horribly cooked salmon dish and whatever I was going to replace it with. I know for a fact they are using the Atlantic Salmon bought from BJs that comes in a bag with 6 of them and they used 1 for my dish, didn't bother to fire up another Salmon neither nor suggested it. Simply told me "Sorry, that's how its made here, just eat it." Horrible practice. Whoever is controling quality control there needs to be replaced immediately or this place will sink (maybe then they would have fresh seafood).

My wife ended up getting the Mofongo and her food came out cold to the point she did not eat it. They do nothing for the guest but just take your money and smile at you serving you horrible quality food and back it up just by saying "That's how we make it." I wouldn't put it past them if food dropped on the floor and they picked up and blew some dust off and still serve it and if customers complained they'd say "I gUeSs tHaTs HoW iTs MaDe HeRe. SoRrY."

Save your money, save your appetite. Literally past the baseball field there is a corner store that serves Dominican food in the corner that serves 100x better food and its fast and cheaper.

I normally don't write a negative review like this, but this experience has to be known. Either they get their act together or shut this place down and put a real Restaurant in.

The food here is disgusting and unfortunately I have tried this place twice & both times they have either overcooked or undercooked our food. When I told them that my salmon was hard they told me that's just how they cook it and told me that they would charge me for another plate if I sent back the salmon. Horrible service and horrible food.
