Amazingly fresh seafood. I grew up eating seafood so this is the place to go if you want good quality seafood!

Spent almost 200 dollars on razor clams, shrimps, and clams. Only the shrimps are edible. The clams are so stink. Dont buy. The seller/owner is so flaky.

Came here to buy live lobsters and other seafood (clams & mussels) for our at home lobster & seafood boil night. At $7.99/lb (for the smaller lobsters), you can't go wrong! Everything was super fresh and way cheaper than other places. The woman at the counter was helpful in our picking of seafood and grabbing what we needed, and wrapped everything in newspaper & double bags (on top of the plastic bags they put the seafood in) to ensure no seafood juices got on our car. Will definitely return for my live seafood needs!

I love grocery stores that are exclusively dedicated to seafood and have great prices. Despite how small the shop is, the owners have really crammed this place up with tanks in the back, buckets in the front, and other shelves all in between. I think I'm a relatively tiny person, yet I still have to be cautious about not accidentally knocking over a shelf of dead fish when I'm here! I recommend asking the staff for help to avoid all this stress. This place basically satisfies all my seafood cravings - lobster, crab, shrimp, scallops, mussels, fish, clams, etc.etc.etc. Definitely come earlier than later to get the freshest and liveliest stock of seafood.

At Happy Market you'll find fresh seafood at reasonable prices including including crab, shrimp, and lobster as well as a selection of more exotic sea creatures (like turtles and bamboo shellfish).

Most of the stuff I bought here were fresh! Scallops, lobsters, live fish and even random groceries like onions and vegetables were good. There are always some dead fish that are not fresh lying around but that happens in all fish markets. You just gotta avoid them. Happy with everything else!

Silly me, I didn't realize the $2/lb fresh lobster were dead. It wasn't until I poked at them and didn't notice any motion while the cashier was out back grabbing me an ice pack that I asked. She said that they died during transport and had only come in this morning, and my friend pointed out that they still looked really fresh. So, since I had already paid, and I remembered reading in the past that it is okay to cook and eat a recently deceased lobster if their tail remains curled after cooking, I decided not to raise a fuss. PS - Tail test was successful!

Super fresh, super clean and very friendly. Some of the best seafood in Boston. The earlier you go, the better the selection.
