The Irish Village has always been a great place to have quality pints at an affordable price and lots of fun to be had. Though it is a local pub with a wonderful group of regulars the doors are always open to everyone.
Recently, The Village has opened a cool new back room that will feature live music, pub quiz, open mics, and karaoke. There will truly be something for everybody to enjoy. So please come on down!

The Irish Village is a beloved local bar that has been a favorite for over 25 years. Known for its well-thought-out draft selection and the unique tradition of serving wine in half bottles, it offers a friendly atmosphere. The bartenders are described as very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service and a good range of cocktails. The bar recently opened a new back room that hosts a variety of live entertainment, including music, pub quizzes, open mics, and karaoke, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Food options remain limited to toasties, which are made-to-order grilled cheese sandwiches on multigrain bread, with or without ham and mustard. Customers can also bring in their own meals. When the place is not crowded, darts are available. The Irish Village is recognized as a fun local spot, a bit nicer than a dive, featuring two rooms with different atmospheres. It is known for its excellent Guinness pours and quality live music, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Customers appreciate the lively crowd and ambiance, noting that it is a perfect spot in the Brighton/Allston area. With plenty of seating, the bar remains welcoming even when busy, and the clean bathrooms add to the overall experience. The Irish Village is a place where many say they would gladly return.
