Food was good, had great selection but at the end when it was time to pay I was going to leave a good tip that I felt was appropriate but the waitress started to delete the amount I put it and tried demanding a higher tip and telling me what I put in wasn’t enough and needed to be higher, mind you I already was paying 100$ for all the food, I do not believe I’ll be coming back to this place
Food was good. We were having a great time until the waitress demanded a larger tip, I was taught that that stuff was incredibly rude but I guess they missed that lesson.

I ordered online and when I got to the place I was just standing there for a bit, no one helped me for a while until a customer told one of the employees “hey man she’s picking up something”. Now one of the items was the fried “jumbo” tentacles. I opened the bag and took a look inside and y'all ??? where is the “jumbo”???? Paid 11 dollars for some crumbs.

Don’t ignore the past ten 1 star reviews. Have a case with my credit card company with them for changing the tip after we didn’t leave their “recommended” minimum for what was essentially a buffet. Wouldn’t even bring over soy sauce…

We sat down and were all ready to order, and my friend informed the waiter of her food allergies. However, the waitress was extremely rude and immediately kicked us out after hearing her first allergy. She wouldn't even listen to the rest and instead said NO. I was looking forward to try the food, but I am astounded by the disrespectful behavior and will not be trying the food here in thr future.

Food was mediocre - the veggies were not fresh and some even tasted sour. The dipping sauce selection was poor and there were lots of flies in the sauce area as well as in the seating area. The waitress got very upset and rude when we only tipped 15%, and demanded to know why we did not tip at least 18%. I've never encountered someone demanding a higher tip at a restaurant before.

The food was decent, but not especially good
We were seated in a corner away from the main path of the waiters and waitresses, so they only came by once past the absolute minimum, and then got oddly defensive when I tipped 15%
Weird vibes to end the night

I’m very sad to see this place go so down hill. I have been going here for over a decade and my visit tonight has left such a bad impression I am not sure when or if I will ever go back.
Food: they brought out the wrong base (instead of curry it was more like a watery vegetable broth), the assorted vegetables were mostly wilted and going bad, and the pan fried gyoza came out lukewarm.
Service: so poor, our waiter never came to check on us but would check in on everyone around us. Every time we tried to get his attention he would made eye contact and walk away even when our waters were empty and the broth was so low things were beginning to burn.
In the end after being ignored for the entire time (not a single word was spoken to our table except the initial asking for our order) and us waiting for the check, I had to go up to ask for it at the counter.
I’m usually absolutely against tipping below 20% but the experience made me feel so horrible I went to tip 10% and the woman who was holding the ipad to pay removed my tip and told me I had to choose an option higher than 18%. I tried to explain why and that I was ignored every time I tried to speak to someone about our issues with the food and she was very upset with me.
This is not the Kaze I have always loved and I am heartbroken to have been treated so poorly and see their quality steadily go down.

A few weeks back my husband and I came into this restaurant for a late dinner not knowing we where in for THE WORST SERVICE EVER. For starters we where seated in a corner of the restaurant away from everyone like peasants and the place was NOT crowded. The person that seated us was pleasant. The person that took our order was something else. She made us feel as if we had to rush our dinner and it was not even near to closing time. When it was time to pay my husband handed her $100 our meal was $89, the normal thing to do is go handle business and bring back change. NO this individual stood there and said that $100 was not enough and that she needed a 20% tip. I kept my mouth because I was in shock. As Boston foodies we ALWAYS do 20% and over in sit-down restaurants. She demanded her tip as if we weren't going to tip. Her attitude and rudeness was over the edge. The food was not even good for the horrible service this individual gave us, and the bathroom was nasty. NOT COOL.

This is the worst hot pot place I have ever been. The button is broken. They don't have Tahani, no peanut sauce, no sesame oil. The vegetables are not fresh. The meat is not good. This is a terrible place. And I paid almost 40 dollars just for one person. This is the worst hot pot restaurant. Not recommend. I will never come again.

Kaze Shabu-Shabu in Boston offers a delightful hot pot experience. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and savory broths make for a satisfying, interactive meal. Attentive service in a modern, inviting space. Perfect for groups or date night. A must-try!

I only come just for the opening hour, it's too late for another choice.
The food was not good as it is. Japanese Ramen is not Japanese style nor the Bibimbap. Flavour is so salty. Only the canned drink maintain its quality.
The service is kind of awkward, no smile, bad attitude but the waiter asked for 18% of the bill and said it's the minimum although we left almost the food on the dish.
I would love to put zero star if it has that option.
HIGHLY NOT recommend for the tourists.
