There’s just nothing else out there like it. I’ve tried so many other places and I have been underwhelmed so many times. Get the sriracha bbq chicken. Get anything, it’s always good.

Overall the food is mid. Got the gochujang kfc and $20 for 10 pieces was kinda over doing it. The Korean/asian flavors I expected weren’t really there. They just tasted like the average American spicy tender. The use of breast tenders and not thighs ruined its potential + the breading wasn’t as crispy as I thought it’d be. The kimchi jjigae was alright also. It was a good rich broth but for some reason there was less pork belly and more pulled pork which is weird considering pulled pork isn’t typically in this dish. Overall, tastes alright but $40 for 2 dishes I probably won’t be back

Delicious, fun spot to go to with friends or family. The customizable Korean corn dogs are simply superb, and they have same really fun combinations like Hot Cheetos. We also tried the Kimchipapi Fries, which had a great blend of toppings. There’s some searing inside, though not a lot, but it wasn’t crowded when we came. Would definitely recommend going if you get the chance.

I FOUND A HAIR IN MY FOOD. 1 star is too much of a rating, I wish I could rate them a 0. I found a hair in my food, the lady on the cashier let me know I would receive a refund. 2 weeks later, no refund, every time I call they hang up the phone and the manager never seems to be around. Incredibly disappointing food and especially service. We used to love kimchipapi but clearly their quality of food, staff members and treatment to their customers has worsened immensely. The majority of the staff don’t speak English and that’s really hard when trying to communicate. 0/10 all around.

Note to the owners response 5/25/25; I really appreciate your time to respond. As someone who also runs a business, I agree, some things are out of control, I empathize. However, it's hard to take the seriousness of the shrinkflation to your core product, when you have marketing offerings of $30 Tshirts, promo materials and oddities that I've never seen a single person in the area wearing except for me, and when a second location just opened up for your business 5 months ago. Doesn't seem like it was too much or a burden good sir. Take care as well!
Honestly, this used to be one of my favorite places to order from in the entire city. Easy 6/5 stars a year and a half ago and had almost no competition.
But sadly, since the Pandemic this place is jumping on the take-out shrinkflation bandwagon. Prices are up, portions are cut in half, there is more filler and less of the seafood, the Tuna is rarely offered anymore, and the menu is being replaced with expensive alternatives.
I really hope someday Kimichipapi will return to what it once was, but in its current form, I can't really suggest them anymore. Too expensive for less than half of what they used to offer.

I order delivery quite often from this place. The rice in their rice bowls taste uncooked and stiff many times, which is quite unacceptable. Rice is very important, please cook it well. Do not serve stiff rice to customers.
