Nice spot to grab an early morning breakfast in the area. The menu is reasonably priced and generally more affordable compared to places like Pressed Cafe or The Friendly Toast. The food is high quality, fresh, and came out quickly. The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and relaxed, making it a great place to start the day. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous for the price. Definitely a hidden gem for a casual breakfast or coffee stop.
Almost never leave reviews. Today I had to because I had a great breakfast experience. I came in to have breakfast with a friend staying here and we met the sweetest young lady. Super attentive and although it being a busy morning did not make us feel rushed at all. I expected the run of the mill hotel food and service, but Sebastian at the bar blew me away with great, friendly, attentive service with a smile. I had a Caesar salad with salmon that was perfectly prepared as if it were a feature dish. Best Caesar I have had in a long time. Bravo, Vela and Sebastian for surprising a seasoned traveler with an unexpected delightful experience. This alone will bring me back to Vela and the Yotel.
