They’re really nice but they charged us for paper plates and they put a 20% tip for very minimal service and paper plates we paid for. They also made errors with our order. She didn’t make us aware of this so thankfully we had looked at the bill. We asked her about it and she told us it’s mandatory then told us she can ask if she can remove it. We still tipped her what we felt was appropriate.

yo. Hands down probably the worst meal I've had in my life. Listen, maybe I should've known to not order the meatball sub but when I say the meat tasted like the smell of a toilet flush I mean it whole heartedly. They really just slapped 3 slices of Kraft singles and didn't even take the time to put it in a microwave for 30 seconds to melt it. Also our total bill was $118 (not including tip) for 4 people. Absolutely ridiculous. Service was extremely fast tho, probably due to the zero shits they gave in the kitchen when preparing the food. I was recommended this place by a friend who lives in Southie. Seemed like a casual hole-in-the-wall spot that had potential but wow, talk about a meal I'll never forget because it was that bad. Happy I got to experience it, however.

This place used to be a decent go to place for pizza and subs. The quality of food has dipped big time and lack of customer service is shocking. I have eaten here my whole life. I began ordering through Uber Eats to my office in the South End and it's been a nightmare dealing with them. I actually went to the location Saturday night and was appalled. Not only are there mice in the dining room, my girlfriend was yelled at because she sent back a burger that was completely burnt. She had ordered it to be cooked medium. These people don't care. They just want your money. Be better L Street Diner.

The pizza is so delicious. If you're visiting Korea, you should definitely order pizza here. It's so delicious. A huge pizza costs $20 haha. This is the first time I tried reasonable food during my 10-day trip to Boston.the pizza is so delicious , big and price is soooo good!!! I strongly recommend this restaurant!!!!
I had been going to L Street Diner my whole life and last week my senior aunt picked up an order for me. It was not done correctly and she asked for 2 new pizzas to be made as we requested. Instead of apologizing, the owner started an argument with her and said “you are pissing me off” after he spoke to her like that she was completely in shock and how disrespectful he was to a customer. Then he pulled up our phone number and said you come here once a month. As if we are not regular customers and can be treated like trash. I am so disgusted with this treatment by a so called owner who should correct an issue a customer has with an order that was not done correctly by the owner. Beware of this Diner. If you are unhappy with an order you can forget about it being fixed by the person in charge.

Got the pulled pork. It was horrible. These guys don't know how to make pulled pork. Not shredded small enough, so it's difficult to eat, and it's full of fat, so it tastes of just gross fat.

I am completely disgusted with the service at L Street diner. I have been going to them for 20+ years and my order was not done correctly. The pizzas I ordered had no extra cheese and instead of correcting the issue the owner started a fight and said “you’re pissing me off” I was completely appalled and all he wanted to do was argue with me and had the nerve to say well you only come here once a month. It is a shame that he could not apologize and correct the issue I had. I have never been treated so poorly especially by management at a restaurant. Beware of this place because the second you have a issue with your order the blame is put on the customer.
