Being from Providence RI. I grew up on Domincan food and this place takes me right back! You can taste the love in every bite. I was hooked the very first time I walked and and got a whiff of that delicious homemade food smell. I especially like the fact that they are open early because when your in construction, sometimes "lunch" is at 9 a.m. This place is clean and inviting and the staff is always friendly. La Parada is a Great place to have lunch, Dinner, and Breakfast, if they open up for that not sure. But the service is excellent ? they are always smiling when serving you the place is clean and comfortable and your welcome to sit and eat and enjoy your meal. The food is also freshly cooked and Delicious ? with great portions. So if you haven't been to La Parada's Check them out you'll love ? them.

So this place gets busy fast and only has 4 or 5 small tables inside so most people take their food to go, like I did. My oxtail and rice and beans was amazing. I also got ripe sweet plantain. My present to myself. Tender, not fall off the bone, but close. The rice was not mushy and everything was flavorful. I had to travel to get there and it was worth it.
