Excellent food! Great service! We were seated inside, and it was a little too loud to have a conversation. We will be back
Always good for a special occasion. Our meals were delicious and the wine was outstanding.
Great atmosphere and food. Service was very attentive. Waiter did not rush us at all. We were fortunate to be seated in the back room where the noise level was comfortable. The Dover sole was perfectly cooked and plated. Nice job. Will certainly come back soon.
The service and environment were both very good. The food was fine, and the flavors were layered. I really liked the confit. The two desserts I tried, Napoleon and chocolate mousse, were both quite average.

We went to La Voile for Dine Out Boston and it was stellar. 3-course meal for $36 a person was a steal. Didn't love the risotto dish, but the beet goat cheese salad, corn chowder soup, duck and red meat dishes, and pear dessert were phenomenal. They even scraped the bread crumbs off our table in between courses which felt nice for some reason đ¤ highly recommend for French cuisine on picturesque Newbury St!

I had the French onion soup and moules frites. Both delicious. Great wine, really really good service. Sat outside, the atmosphere was wonderful.

Grain of salt because I sat on the bar side, but La Voile was not impressive. I had the 3-course menu. The foie gras terrine was tiny, and intensely gamey. The fruit puree unfortunately accentuated that. The main dish, the duck breast, was not cooked as ordered (asked for rare on chef recommendation, came out medium). Itâs a tiny portion, way too gamey, and the accompanying vegetables were lackluster. The sauce was good though. Dessert was good, floating island, but the vanilla custard sauce shouldâve had more flavor. If youâre looking for great French food in Boston, Iâm not sure it exists. It definitely isnât here.

Nice experience. The food was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. The only thing that was not enjoyable was the âhoneyâ served with the tea. Iâm not sure what it was, but it was not honey. The staff were nice and on point. The atmosphere was cozy and really captured the essence of a classic French restaurant. Itâs a great spot for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

Best restaurant in Boston I will definitely come back on a next visit. We tried mussels and entrecĂ´te, both were exquisite. Service was also amazing. Good job running this place.

Great food at fair prices. Surprising to find such great food and service on Newbury Street; don't let the locale deter you.
Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance is a staircase. If there is a handicap accessible entrance, it is not obvious.
