It is fancy restaurant, but food... 🤔was good, but not the best. Service awesome and atmosphere was loud. I did order 4way menu. Samon tart and Napolion desert was very basic and was with the crackers. Surprised me a monkfish. Was good. Another main dishes wasn't a big deal. A little disappointed. Need do reservation.

First time there. Quaint. Not much room at bar but we were seated quickly. Did the 4 course taste of France for $75. Soup first course was delicious. I got the smoked salmon appetizer and my husband got the foie gras terrine. Outstanding. We both ordered the duck breast entree. We were not disappointed. We shared a bottle of wine during dinner and that was enjoyable as well. Our wonderful dinner finished with dessert of crème brûlée. It was the best I've ever had. Will definitely go back!

I had the steak frites and it was amazing. My granddaughter and I split the chestnut soup as an appetizer- delicious!!! Lovely place, yummy food, excellent service.

Everything about La Voile is always exceptional! Dining here is like being transported off of Newbury Street and into France. It is a cozy, yet lively atmosphere with excellent service and some of the best food in Boston! We always feel welcome here and we always leave raving about the meal.

One of our favorite restaurants in Boston. Cozy, great food and service, not to mention the wine selection. We are occasional visitors to Boston now, but lived here many years ago. We make Le Voile a must stop every time we're in town.

Excellent food, service and value for money. The noise level was a bit much on a Thursday evening for a 6:15 reservation was a bit high for a table of 5 but the food, service and value made it worth while. Astonishingly comprehensive and excellent wine list with tremendous values. I used to own a fine wine store, so 8 know. Thank you!! I'll be back again and again

If you are looking for traditional French cuisine in a lovely old-world city restaurant, this is your place. The service was outstanding - servers were dressed formally and spoke French which added authenticity to the experience. We felt very welcome. Ask for Denis to be your server. Overall, the food was “okay.” Escargot and monk fish were over cooked but tasty. The Cassoulet was very disappointing- more like thick flavorless vegetable soup. The Foie gras, greens, and dessert (a Napoleon pastry) were amazing! All food was presented beautifully. It's not overly expensive for the total experience. Try the price fixed 4 course dinner for $75... best bet!

We were so excited to try this restaurant. Neither of us were thrilled with our meals. Everything on mine was coated with butter, but no flavor. The fish was tender, but too much butter. My husbands meal had too much breading or stuffing. The duck and pork were perfectly cooked. The service was exceptional.

Food was good but not great. Dessert was just okay. Service was good but too many check ins that interrupted our conversation during dinner.

Dinner at La Voile was a delightful experience from beginning to end. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the quiet and cozy dining room which made it easy for us to have a conversation during our meal!
