I got to Pinky's on a cold Friday evening around 6, expecting the usual rush of after work folks, but surprisingly, it wasn't too crowded. The interior was aesthetically decorated, with just the right kind of lighting that allows for meaningful conversations at tables and the bar. We grabbed dinner here on a Sunday night. Nice ambiance with some odd art on the wall! We got two cocktails, the bees knees and a black Manhattan (not on the menu). Both very good. There we had four tapas: edamame, Brussel sprouts, tacos and empanadas. All 4 were yummy, although all a bit heavy on the salt. The empanada dough was light and crispy, with a chimichurri creama. This is a great find for dinner and drinks on Newbury Street in Boston. Tapas style dinner menu allows for sharing dishes. We had the potstickers, broccoli, brussels sprouts and tacos all of which were delicious and paired well with extensive beer/wine/cocktail offerings. Restaurant also offers patio dining in spring which is great for people watching on Newbury Street.
