Best meal I had in Boston this trip.
Went here on a weekday for dinner, food was good but not amazing. Service was wonderful, ambience was great, and good tequila selection. I know it's in Back Bay but it was a bit expensive for what we ate. Would go back but it wasn't a great value.
First meal at Casa Romero since the mid/late 1970's when my husband & I were regulars. Staff was very friendly, and we able to sit & chat for two hours. Food was good, but not as special as years ago. That night they did not have any beef dishes available. Decor leans to charming, but my impression was that the entire restaurant could use a deep cleaning & updating. Worked well for three old friends who wanted to catch-up. Will I rush back? Probably not.
