I love pavement’s bagels so much. They are the only place in Boston that I know of with a vegan cream cheese. Both the veggie tofu spread and the Diablo are delicious! It’s pricey, but it’s a nice weekend treat. Newbury location gets so busy on the weekends, and I find the fellow customers to be a bit rude, but it’s still worth the pre-shopping treat!

I got a "classic lox" sesame bagel sandwich to-go, as well as a couple of plain bagels for later. The bagels are definitely very delicious. The lox sandwich had a generous layer of plain cream cheese with lox, tomato, red & white onions, and capers. I kinda wish there maybe should be some greens (arugula? Bibb lettuce?) but the sandwich was delicious and hit the spot.The service is friendly. The coffeehouse itself is tiny but cozy.I haven't tried their coffee during my visit -...read full review

Amazing bagel sandwich! Got the classic turkey, it exceeded my expectations! I think this was the best bagel I had in Boston- they claimed it’s homemade. Very good texture and fresh. Comparable to Brooklyn bagel! Coffee was decent! Nice
