Legal Sea Foods - Downtown Crossing

As usual, everything was great. Legal Seafood is my Lunch place before a matinee theater show always.

Green beans were overcooked, Tri-tip steak I had ordered medium and most pieces were rare. My wife ordered starter crab cake(s) for dinner for 24.00 . I guess it may have said crab cake (singular) but 24.00 for one crab cake seems a bit much.

service was stupendous. Megan is the greatest!!! GM (Doug) is awesome and personally takes an interest in all his diners! I have been to Legals countless times but this location and the team there are the best!!!!!

Even though I had a reservation, there were no tables available when I arrived. We were lucky enough to find 2 seats at the bar and after asking someone to move over 1 seat, we were able to sit together. The food is always good and fresh. But I did not appreciate the lack of a table.

This is a great restaurant, located right across the street from the theater. We told our server we were going to a show and she was attentive to the timing and our needs. Food was excellent! My husband has celiac and the gluten free dinner and rolls were great!

The menu and server were both great. The only complaint is that the restaurant was freezing and the manager said that there was nothing that could be down to turn down the AC. It ruined the meal.

Great pre-theatre Legal Seafoods location. Energetic music, reliably delicious food and always excellent service. We were happy to be seated in Taryn's section, a waitress we've been with before, who is excellent - so attentive, genuinely friendly and who clearly seeks to provide an exceptional dining service for her tables. This is our go-t pre-theatre dining spot because you always get an excellent meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Great experience - thanks Taryn!

Waiter spilled water on me then dropped a dray of drinks again getting my legs wet! Service was slow and the food was mediocre for the price point and not up to past Legal Seafood standards

Overall a very enjoyable dinner. The chowder was outstanding and the fish dinners were very flavorful.

Ok for us !!! We came back after 40 years . Menu has changed, no Seafood Casserole . Had a Whole Libster instead .

Came for the Dine Out Boston Lunch menu. Our server, Meghan, was phenomenal! Great food with pretty quick service.

Dine out menu choice were excellent. It was a very filling and enjoyable lunch . I took the desert home because the lunch was filling. i enjoyed the cheese at home it was also excellent.

The best part of the evening was how accommodating this place was to our need to place nine people at our table. The hostess, Quinn, immediately too care of getting us all within an aisle's distance. It's a good nuts and bolts seafood place but some of the plates were sort of boring both visually and taste-wise. The variety of the menu was very handy as we had to pre-teens with picky tastes. Otherwise a pretty good place to eat for a large party.

Our waiter was phenomenal. He didn't tell us his name or have a name tag on, but provided exceptional service.

I went back to Legal Sea Foods Downtown Crossing on August 5 and had another excellent experience. Meagan was my server and she was absolutely the best—friendly, attentive, and made the evening feel easy and enjoyable. I ordered a lot of the dollar oysters, which were fresh and delicious, and I also had the Dine Out Boston dinner special that came with fun and creative lobster cones along with a great main course. Everything was well prepared and full of flavor, and Meagan made sure I had everything I needed throughout the night. Another fantastic visit and I'll definitely be back.
