The atmosphere was very pleasant. I had to use a restroom. Basically, they allowed me to use it. You walk into a restaurant and a smell really good? I will be checking this back out. Maybe a night out. Thank you, employees.Kid-friendliness: I need a stop asap and was allowed to use thank you

The service was okay, except our waitress had to keep asking if we had received things we'd ordered, they had to come back to clarify our order, and we had to remind them that we had not yet ordered entrees. Looking back, maybe the service wasn't okay.Aside from the clam chowder, which was fine I guess, the food was *inedible.* I had the trout, and saying it was overcooked would be an understatement. It had the consistency of a roofing tile. My wife had some whitefish, cod, maybe? And that was also overcooked with zero flavor. The sides looked like they had been scooped off a steam table. Really terrible.Stay well away, the old Legal Seafood as a restaurant and a brand is apparently dead and gone.

Yes, it's in the mall. But the food is reliably good, the service professional, and the setting, if you get a table by the windows, isn't half bad. Great place for a work lunch or dinner, especially if you like a fair choice of healthy options, including some good salads and grilled fish. The crispy fish tacos, while not the healthiest choice, are excellent.

Service was mostly nice but chaotic. Appetizers were ok (clam flatbread and clam chowder). Food plating for main courses looked unprofessional, unappetizing and taste matched. Trout was overcooked. Cod had no flavor other than grease from grill. Whipped sweet potatoes were watery and water had run out all over the plate. Broccoli side was not roasted - was over-steamed and had no soy. This had more of a cafeteria food vibe.

We were so excited to eat here because of the strong and steady reputation. So disappointed in the food. Linguine with clams was overcooked, but lobster Mac n cheese was outstanding. Lobster bisque was watery and underwhelming. So a mediocre experience overall given the price....

Clam chowder was good. Lobster Roll nothing special. But, I AM NOT COMING BACK. Service was terrible. Server was rude and given her attitude I should have left without ordering. I asked to see the pressed sushi menu. Server responded that, "it's just pressed sushi." So, I asked what it was and she said, "it's just pressed sushi, not that good, nobody orders it." Other tables around me were sending dishes back before they even arrived because of how long it took, too. Also table next to us tried splitting check in 5 and were told they couldn't.

Don't get the lobster, it's just a bunch of mixed seafood stuffing! If you want a true lobster experience, this overpriced chain is NOT the place!

Good place to bring out of town guests because it's based within the mall. Food was good; the lobster Mac and cheese was such a sight! Yummy and fun looking on the table. Service was okay.
Everything was awesome but kitchen and server were slammed so we waited an extra long time for food and for our check. Server was great before she got slammed though and all our food was fantastic!

Nice vibes. But food was super mid. Scallops were way overcooked. Calamari not super flavorful. Clam chowder was good though. Wouldn’t come again.

The food was great but the hosts was a lil upset cause I didn't wanna sit in the middle of the floor and then another patronage was seated behind me with a dog. I understand service animals procedures but what if I had animal allergies. Other than that everything else was great.

We sat at the bar - of course!!PEI mussels in a garlic white wine broth are delicious as was the bang bang cauliflower for apps. I had the Nori- Chili crusted Yellowfin - outstanding! My bride had the NE baked Haddock which is exactly the way we make it at home! We had the Albareno which went perfectly with the mussels and cauliflower.Great views of downtown Boston and never too busy. Perfect for a quiet night out or with a group. Gotta try the seafood tower!!
