Excellent, authentic italian. Great pregame spot for Celtics or Bruins games. Cozy seating so not the place for you if you want to be secluded
The food was horrible, bland, disappointing. Service was slow. Amazing espresso martinis though
Always a great experience at Massiminos. Kim is an outstanding server and facilitates a wonderful time.
Meals were delicious. Chicken Picata and chicken parm. Service was great! Server was attentive but not overly so. Noise level was great when we arrived but did get somewhat loud as the restaurant filled. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.
Johnnie our server was fantastic ! Attentive, knew the entire menu, memorized!! Helped us with our decisions and such a pleasant personality! I highly recommend Massamino's and “Ask for Johnnie”
My first bad dining experience in the North End. Food: mediocre, Ambience “Wine Cellar” = musty dungeon, Service = abysmal. I should have known something was up as this place was one of the few restaurants without a line of patrons outside on a very busy Columbus Day Weekend. The young hostess and waitstaff were unknowledgeable, unpleasant and could not have been more apathetic. Were the owners away for the weekend? After sitting at a table for 15 minutes, I had to go find a waiter. He was unapologetic. He did not offer any conversation and did not discuss the specials. Bread was stale. Dipping oil was clear, unhealthy Canola oil. What type of Italian restaurant uses something other than olive oil? Chicken parm was soggy and watery. Penne was overcooked. None of the food was hot. Somewhat warm at best. Restaurant was not busy so staff should not have been overwhelmed. Had to hunt down an employee so I could pay for this overpriced, terrible food and horrible experience. On the way out we passed multiple employees on their cell phones. Hostess sat comfortably on a chair at the entrance digging into a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Classless. This is no way to run a restaurant. Staff needs to be trained. The owner or a manager who cares should be on premises. I will continue to dine in the fabulous North End but never again at this restaurant.
Excellent Italian dining! Get a reservation game nights you will not be disappointed. We will return for the veal again soon. Loved the staff greeting us outside when we arrived.
On our first dining experience here, we started with the grilled octopus, done to absolute perfection. We then enjoyed two specials, one with shrimp, scallops, and mushrooms, in a delectable limoncello sauce, and the other with a short ribs over pasta vibe. We had excellent service and enjoyed not being rushed in a dinner with friends from out of state. Absolutely plan on going back!
Food was great came quick not too packed we sat downstairs, felt like a real Italian experience but the waiter was on his phone almost the whole time, didn't have good manners
Food was excellent. Service was the perfect amount of checking in but giving us space. Drinks were delicious. Thank you for the wonderful experience Massiminos!

Cozy and lovely! Food was excellent and service was professional. North End gem with great ambiance!
Missing a 5 star because each has a chicken dish and it came with two cutlets. Each of them had one that was overcooked and dry. The service and quality of the food were fantastic! My husband said it was the best he's ever had! I knew the North End would not disappoint. Thank you for this great experience and they have a Sicilian style of Marsala which I've never seen. It's rolled up and stuffed. Very cool. This place is authentic and totally worth the wait. It's close to the TD Center.
We were running late due to traffic, called ahead and the restaurant was very accommodating. The seating is tight but tables large enough to hold everything. Restaurant was pretty much at capacity but drinks and food still came at a good pace. From host to wait staff everyone was friendly and professional. The drinks were balanced and on point. The food was well prepared and did not disappoint. Noise levels are a bit high in the lower level but again it was a busy Friday night so I'm not complaining. Overall a very good experience and the Restaurant is on my list to return to when I'm the area.
Service was outstanding...Johnny not only exceptionally well he was engaging and added value to the experience Short rib red sauce and they allowed bucatini substitution...outstanding Great wine and the Bianca proved her greatness by engaging after our meal Awesome, cozy spot We highly recommend
Our food was just not good at all. The shrimp was all stuffing and the lemon sauce was so salty. The other two dishes were just mediocre. We ordered an appetizer which was never delivered, but also thankfully wasn't on our bill. We won't be back.
