The Ambience sets the tone for one of the most rustic restaurant experiences in the city. The food was absolutely amazing and the service provided was top notch. I would highly recommend Massimino’s Cucina Italiana 🌟 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cozy Italian restaurant off the beaten path in the heart of the North End. Friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff too. Nonna’s meatball was fantastic. The sauce was very good. The scallops, shrimp limoncello was amazing. Fresh fish and great noodles too. I will return to this restaurant in the future.

Tables were very close to eachother and hard to sit down. The food tasted good but I got a small portion of ravioli for the price. My mom's meatball tasted incredible. Tiramisu was good.

Small restaurant nestled in a nice location, offering tasty and quality dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. The service is impeccable, delivered by a friendly and welcoming staff who greet guests with a warm smile. Definitely worth a visit. We'll be back.

Awesome food was there Saturday night 1/10/26 swordfish on the bone was fantastic and drinks were amazing only one problem I felt We were rushed with our meal was told by our waitress that they don’t serve dessert when they are busy which I thought was odd we did have a reservation that was the only disappointment I had

Made a prior reservation and got right in with no waiting on a busy night. Food came out quickly and was piping hot. Hostess/waitress extremely attentive without being too much. Got us in and out quickly while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere & not rushing us when we told them we needed to travel home after dinner before weather hit. Delicious food! Will be back for a third visit next time we are in Boston!

We went here for dinner before a Celtics game. Walkable from the Garden. The artichoke margherita appetizer was amazing and what we went there to try. The Cacio e Pepe pasta meal was delicious, the light sauce was perfect for not overfilling. The bread/oil and Caesar salad was also top notch. We sat in the basement dining room which is definitely tight right next to others and the music is loud, so it is a good spot for a pre-event meal but not somewhere you'd want a quiet dining experience. Would go back!

Food was incredible!! It is cramped and loud though in case you were looking for a quiet date night location.

I organized a work luncheon to celebrate the holidays. Requested the wine cellar and it was perfect for the 10 of us. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. For appetizers we chose: Caesar salad, grilled octopus and the antipasto. We were not rushed and when ready ordered entrees, many of us ordered the pappadalle dish with shrimp and scallops, it was amazing and we took home what we couldn't finish. All dishes came out at the same time and hot. Coffee and shared desserts followed. Highly recommend Massiminos!!

Granted this review is based on New Year's Eve. Service was Ok. Restaurant is cute and tight. Make sure you book a reservation. Food was delish. No questions asked. If it wasn't for it being a holiday eve..any other day..this place would be a 5/5 across the board. I'd recommend this spot moving forward.

Food was very good, Service was also excellent
HOWEVER, the restaurant music was loud and inappropriate. AC/DC and similar music does not belong in a North End Italian restaurant

Waiter was very friendly, Tried to help as much as possible. Sauce was good but not great. North End italian spoils you with some of the best italian and this place wasn't quite up to par.

Sadly our party of 8 felt kid if rushed out, no desserts to offer for coffee. We really wanted some deserts.

So over all, good, but not great.
