10/10 would recommend. To the quality of the food to the service and warmth of the restaurant, I can't wait to go back. I'm a common “north end” goer and only have a few restaurants I like to go to and Massimino's just moved to the top of my list. Everything we ordered tasted delicious and was made with quality ingredients and love!! I am giving a 1 star rating because we had 5pm reservations and were not seated until 6pm. Reservations mean nothing. Everyone in there had 5pm reservations. They overbooked and had a did not care attitude. I would recommend Filippo Ristorante and Bar a few doors down. I tried to see if they had any tables, which they did not because they were holding the tables for those with reservations as it should be. I do NOT recommend Massiminos.
We went to the basement and had our dinner at the bar. It was a rainy day so not many people were out, we had the downstairs mostly to ourselves. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious.
