I gave this place two tries and ha down one of the worst food eateries in a train station. I ordered an espresso and almond croissant. The espresso was fine but the croissant was very stale and dry. I arrived for dinner to meatball sub. It was pretty bad. The meatballs were rubbery and obviously they weren't cooked with sauce.

Just go to Nero or Starbucks. I paid more than $10 for “sirloin steak” on a bagel expecting shaved beef, but what I got was essentially just ground beef. These people are shameless scammers and nobody should give them any money when there are so many better places to get food
Went here in January of 2025. Food was alright, ordered some kind of Salmon bagel and an iced coffee. The service was horrible though, I had to repeat my order THREE times because the employees could not understand me. I ate half my food, and my train arrived before I could finish the rest. So I left the other (untouched, clean) half of my bagel with them and said “Please give this other half to anybody who’s hungry around here.” Because there is a large homeless crowd that hangs around in South Station, and they are very friendly and kind. The staff of Melting Sun looked at me like I had horns growing out of my head for doing such a thing, so I just left my food on the counter and left. Do not eat here if you care about decent service.
